Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Every time I come here I don’t get greeted. There’s only one person working the line or one person alone in the kitchen. The excuse is that they’re making it now. Every single time. All I hear are timers going off and the food quality isn’t like when it started. There’s no one in drive thru and no one inside the restaurant but me. It’s taking over 15 minutes to get a bacon breakfast on a bun combo with hash browns and an iced coffee. Tbh it’s insane

There is ALWAYS an extended wait time even when you’re the only car in the drive thru. I waited 10+ mins for a double burger combo and strip combo but only received the burger, strips and drink, no fries or dipping sauce (that I specifically asked for) were included at all. After paying darn near $20 and waiting yall have to do better at listening and correctly bagging the customers order. There was no way I was about to wait again just for fries that should have been included. Careless

It's a wonder this place is even open. Asked for breakfast which starts at 11 pm but they can't do it unless you call em out on their bs. If you want better business Greensboro because of certain people just won't give it to you. Literally takes 20 plus minutes in line with only 2 cars in front of me. Slowest establishment in Greensboro by far. They should fire and rehire and start over. Maybe get someone who graduated high-school to manage the place. Lord knows there are none there now

I happened to be going by the one on Wendover drive in Greensboro around 1:30pm & noticed there were almost no lines or cars so I stopped in for lunch. This was my first time in as previously the place was always packed with no parking & drive thru lines around the block with a police officer directing traffic.
I ordered the #1 meal which was the hamburger, fries & a drink. The staff was friendly. The restaurant was clean & very few people inside.
I got my food in a timely manner & the burger had a good taste. I was a bit disappointed in the thin size of the burger patty. I suppose I would need to order a double to get what I would consider a normal size decent burger. It seems like everything is undergoing "shrinkage" now a days with the price staying high.
I probably try it again the next time I'm by there to try out a chicken sandwich.

Food and service were exceptional! Ness was super helpful getting my kids special coupons for their kids meals and helping them redeem special school certificates they earned. The employees seemed to all be working together well and were happy. The manager seemed nice. You could tell it'd be a fun place to work.
They have some ADA accessibility issues. When we visited the only 2 handicap spaces were full. (which was odd since nobody inside seemed to have major mobility issues). An individual with severe mobility issues was then trying to get in and needed a lot af assistance The side door does not have a curb cut near it, making it very difficult for those with mobility assistance devices to get up over the curb. The door is manual which also made it difficult. Ness did jump up quickly and came around the counter to help assist. Again, the staff was great, the design layout was not.
Great food, great service, poor design for accessibility.
