  Came here on a Friday night with my date for the 1st time since this place was recommended to me. We ordered the Attieke, Djolof rice and Egusi. My red snapper was burnt and bland. It was literally black and inedible and was covered up with the garnish that came on top. I wish I would have taken a picture of the food because I am not exaggerating at all. We were already on a time crunch and needed to put something on our stomachs so we dealt with it. Also found out that we were overcharged for the Attieke. Its supposed to be 21.98 but after looking at the receipt, we were charged 29.99...I would neeever come here again thats for sure. Not even sure how they have a 4.8 star rating. They must be deleting the bad reviews. **Edit: As a response to the manager, If we were NOT on a time crunch and had to leave ASAP, I would have addressed the burnt snapper dish but again we were trying to put something on our stomachs as we would not have had time to eat anything else for a few hours and it took yall about 30 to 35 mins to bring our food out so we literally did not and would not have had time to address anything. We just took it as a loss and won't ever come back. You could clearly see that the snapper was burnt and yall still decided to serve it to me and tried to make it look pretty by putting the vegetable garnish all over it.The plates were cleared because we packed the food in the to go boxes and my date didn't want to waste the leftover food. I personally wouldn't have packed anything up.

  The food is incredible. From lamb on-bone with vermicelli to vegan dishes that a staring role not an after thought, each bite takes you somewhere amazing. FlavorFUL, fresh, rich. Also don’t forget the hibiscus tea or ginger drink! Both are unique and delicious. The owner and everyone who works there is dedicated to making you feel at home in their home. Hospitable doesn’t even cover it. Every time I’ve gone here for dinner I leave satisfied and like I’ve been on a wonderful culinary journey.

  The food was amazing. So flavorful. They were so friendly. Can’t wait to try something new next time! Also. Looks are deceiving. They have seating in the back

  Ordered the 3 most popular dishes. All were great but not outstanding (maybe 4.5 stars if Google would allow it). Cashier was very nice but pick up order was abt 15 minutes behind schedule, so like 55 minutes after ordering which I think is a bit much. Also would say the price is a little high. Still definitely worth a try though!

  Mannnn I am so disappointed! I loveee this place, especially the cassava leaves stew and my favorite, the cheesesteak! I hadn’t been in a while, so I decided to order food today. But the cheesesteak wasn’t the same!!!😩. It had tomatoes, cucumbers, and some type of greens on it, which I don’t remember it having before, and it completely changed the flavor. I also decided to try something new for later and ordered the chicken wrap. I just couldn’t wait to try it later so I decided to take a bite after I got my order. It was so overstuffed, soggy, and completely fell apart. I couldn’t even pick it up to eat it. 😔 🤞🏾I’m hoping this was just an off day because this used to be one of my favorite spots💛 usually my food is always top tier 😩😔 idk what happened today
