⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional customer service from Alex at Food Lion on Hicone Road! I was looking for Hershey’s syrup and asked Alex for help. He didn’t know the exact location off the top of his head, but instead of guessing or simply pointing me in a general direction, he took the time to walk over to the correct aisle—and found it on his first try! He even showed me exactly where it was. This was especially appreciated because I asked another employee, and they told me it could be in aisles 2–5, only for me to find out that it wasn’t there, At this Food Lion, Alex went above and beyond to actually help me find what I needed. It was in the middle of aisle 9! Alex was extremely polite, knowledgeable, and professional. His willingness to take the extra step made such a difference and is exactly what great customer service should look like. Thank you, Alex, for the great service! Food Lion is lucky to have an employee like you.

Food Lion now has fresh sushi. They are the Hissho kind that are sold at Lowes Foods and Whole Foods. There have $5 sushi packs and $6 ones on Wednesdays. I got a California roll pack and a spicy tuna roll pack. They were very good for the price. And this month I earned $2 in Shop and Earn points from Deli And Easy Meal Solutions.

All this remodel and reface and still only 1 full service line open. Unless of course you want to check yourself out. Unfortunately Food Lion is now profit over people and has become ridiculously more corporate. Glad there's a Lowe's foods close by.
