My husband and I had breakfast at Easy Like Sunday this morning, and Savannah took wonderful care of us. She was attentive without ever hovering, kind in that genuine way that can't be faked, and you can tell she has a passionate heart for what she does, because it showed in every part of our service. She anticipated what we needed before we had to ask. It's rare to leave a breakfast feeling like you were truly looked after, but that's exactly what she did. Ask for Savannah if you can, she's a gem!
This place is nice. We were in expectation of good quality service. For starters, we weren’t sure who our waiter was. 2 young ladies individually walked up to our table apologizing and stating that they would be our servers. We were seated near the kitchen at a table top and constantly had to swat at gnats—one of which landed in my husband’s mimosa. We waited close to an hour for our food. The food was decent. The server who brought out our food accidentally dropped syrup all over my French toast. So they had to be remade. Not sure we’ll be making a 2nd trip.

For UNCG homecoming, my fraternity brothers and I were looking for a breakfast/brunch spot that could accommodate a large party (we had over 20 in our party). From the moment we reached out, the owner, Demetre, worked to ensure the reservation and experience were flawless. The restaurant was well staffed to accommodate our large party and other patrons. The wait time was short (our table was ready when we arrived) and our primary waitress, Savannah, attended to our needs. Other staff checked on us as well. The food came out QUICK for a large party. And best of all, the food was still hot! Overall, this was a great experience and we are already planning on coming back for homecoming 2027! Thank you to the Easy Like Sunday staff for such a great experience!

I went to this restaurant 2 days in a row and both days they told me there was only a 25 minute wait. After waiting for over an hour I ask the host what was the hold up and her response was that they were having issues in the kitchen and it will be another 25 mins. The first day I let it go, but when I came back the next day and it was the same excuse, I knew that this was a place not worth going to. Instead of coming out and telling the patrons that there is an issue, they just let people wait for hours on end. Save your self the time and headache. Go somewhere else. My suggestion...Breakfast Brunch...they sat us in 2 mins. And the food was amazing.

There was absolutely NOTHING “easy” about our Sunday experience at Easy Like Sunday.
From the moment we arrived, simply trying to get seated was unorganized and frustrating. Once we finally got a table, we saw our server ONE time—she brought water and took our order. That was basically the end of the service.
We ordered our food at 1:00 PM and didn’t receive it until 2:00 PM. A FULL HOUR for eggs, pancakes, bacon, and grits. Seriously? I thought breakfast was supposed to be one of the quicker meals to prepare.
What made the wait even worse was the complete lack of communication. Our server never came back to check on us, apologize, explain the delay, or even say, “Your food should be out shortly.” Nothing. We were just left sitting there wondering what was going on.
There was also no discount or adjustment made to our bill after waiting an hour. We were offered a latte for the inconvenience, which was a nice gesture, but honestly, a latte doesn’t make up for an hour-long wait and nonexistent service.
Easy Like Sunday seriously needs to reevaluate how Sundays are being managed. If you know Sunday brunch is one of your busiest times, staffing, seating, kitchen operations, and customer communication should reflect that. An hour for a basic breakfast with barely any service is unacceptable.
Definitely not the Sunday brunch experience we expected.
