Maybe a good place for breakfast. We had lunch and even though the sandwiches were good, we felt rushed. They were closing in fourth five minutes, so they were sweeping and mopping around us. Instead of putting our food on a tray they wrapped it to go, which may be standard practice. Just as a heads up, they close at 2pm.
Great options, love their coffee and their service. Great ppl here!

I recently had a kind of frustrating experience at the Friendly Center Bruegger’s Bagels … I have a $100 visa gift card . They had a problem processing it and requested I pay with cash or another card. The manager came over and asked me to sign into the website on the back of the visa gift card to check the balance. I signed in . When the manager saw where it says the card was activated at a 7-Eleven store in Chesapeake, VA on 11/04/2025 , they told me “Theres your problem, you can’t use a visa gift card activated in Virginia at a business in North Carolina.” The manager told me I need to call the 7-Eleven store in Chesapeake, VA where it was activated and explain to them what happened and they should be able to help me .
First of all ,there is no such thing as a "state locked" Visa gift card in the United States ! Visa gift cards are designed to work anywhere in the country that Visa debit cards are accepted . Calling the 7-Eleven in Virginia is not going to help me at all . Once a card is activated at the 7-Eleven register , that store's involvement ends. The fact that the card website shows a $100 balance proves the card was activated correctly .
The manager was zero help . I was able to use the same Visa gift card with no problem at LongHorn steakhouse on Battleground later in the day .
Bruegger’s needs to find out what’s causing visa gift cards to not be accepted . The food was delicious but I was frustrated to have to pay using a different card and the fact the manager gave such incorrect information .

I ordered 2 bagels with cream cheese add lettuce tomato onion and sausage. When I got home they were missing the onion, which is an up charge. I had gone back to the restaurant to let them know and instead of making it fresh, the lady took the bagels back behind the counter and put onions on it while muttering and swearing, handed it back with real attitude and said here. When I got back home I had cold and sloppily put together bagels that I had paid for. Really unpleased, this isn't the first time and Id like my money back, I will not be back here.

They never get my order right at this location- I always end up paying for more toppings than I receive EVERY single time.
