  Went Tuesday after a graduation ceremony. Food was good server was very attentive. We were seated promptly 10/10!

  The Outback Steakhouse in Goldsboro, NC, was near my hotel. I don't normally choose chains to dine at because I prefer mom-and-pop places. But sometimes I just need to pick from what is available. The health score was lower than I had hoped for at 91.5. I typically avoid restaurants below 95. It was not too busy when I arrived, so I was seated promptly. I saw a tablet on the table, and that likely would have been the best way to order. My waitress made her way over to take my drink order, and I just ordered my meal then too. She really pushed ordering a larger size than I wanted and appetizers, too. Bread and my salad were brought out, but I still didn't have my drink. The manager eventually brought my Blackberry Refresher. I am not sure if my waitress had too many tables or just lacked attentiveness, but I never saw her after ordering until my check was brought and another push for dessert. The side salad used iceberg lettuce, so that was a disappointment. Maybe Caesar would have had better quality lettuce? Another waitress brought out my food. I had ordered the filet mignon and a baked potato. The meat was priced much higher than sirloin, but its quality was similar to sirloin's. I even had trouble cutting it with the fat, and normally, a filet is lean and tender. I found the baked potato on the small side. With the waitress being nonexistent and other tables waiting to pay while I was still eating, still there when I was finished, the table tablet came in handy as I could pay and be on my way. So that tablet was the best feature of Outback. It even took my feedback on the survey. Probably won't be back.

  Service was exceptionally slow,waitress wasn’t friendly. She didn’t return to ask if we wanted refills on drinks. When we asked for bread she never brought it. Asked for extra dressing for our salads because there wasn’t enough on them took over five minutes to receive.We waited over an hour for our food. We had a long wait for carry out trays and bags. We were not satisfied at all with the service. Definitely will not be returning any time soon. I asked if they were short on kitchen staff she said they weren’t so I’m not sure what the problem was.😟😟😡😡😡

  birthday/special occasion. food was good, according to your palate; atmosphere was great other than slightly chilly, may need a jacket or long sleeves indoors at specific location, otherwise it was great!
