This was my 1st visit as I was there to celebrate a retirement; I must say that the food was excellent and the presentation of the food was beautiful! The salmon was cooked perfectly, the vegetable medley was sautéed nicely and not overcooked and mashed potatoes creamy. The menu was had many choices and everyone's dish looked very appealing; I definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting Latin Cuisine...

Had the surf and turf tacos 🌮 they were on point meat tender and pretty on point also had the pimento cheese balls with the sauce different spin but definitely tastey waitress was composed and polite and respectful and kept checking on us in good intervals and making sure drinks were full vibe is also nice if y'all get a chance try them out price wasn't overwhelming but mid range for the two items but again worth it in my opinion.

I have been wanting to try this restaurant for a long while, saw on their Instagram about the mojitos, and finally got around to trying it out this evening. I've just got to say, it was probably the most 'meh' meal I've had in Goldsboro in a while.
The mojitos we ordered tasted like pure lime juice. No freshness from mint and no alcohol, just overwhelming tart from the lime and was pretty much unenjoyable.
For appetizer we tried the tatertots. The pulled pork on them was grat, tots crispy, but the BBQ sauce lacked a real flavor.
On the entrée side of things, the brisket burger that was ordered had an actual tiny sliver of brisket. It was basically at that point just a regular burger, which we could have gotten at a lot of different places in Goldsboro. It wasn't bad flavor wise, just disappointing.
The other entrée was the blackened salmon. Honestly, not bad at all. While ther rice tasted kinda bland, the salmon actually had flavor and was cooked well. The shoestring of potatos on top felt more like fancy garnish rather than I was supposed to eat it.
Fried plantain themselves were tasty, but the mayo-ketchup sauce felt like a really bizarre pairing to me.
Ended the meal with the tres Leche and it was just ok. Not the best I've had but not the worst.
The server was nice and I felt he did a suitable job being friendly and attentive enough.
I was really excited to try Brisas, but was kind of let down by most of the things we received and that really sucks at the end of the day.
I just don't think the quality of food is there for the price they're asking and I will probably not return.
