Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

This is a great Whataburger we’re from Texas and we would know we’ve been looking for a Whataburger everywhere we go. We travel a lot all over the country. We were so happy when Florida started getting them, but this one was a complete surprise and we’re so happy here in North Carolina at this Whataburger we’re gonna tell our friends. I had the original Whataburger sandwich with extra jalapeños. It was amazing.

Nothing hits the spot like a Whataburger with cheese. Pickles, onions, and mustard the way god intended. Anyway, if you’re craving that breakfast or that burger, come and get it. And if you’re traveling through, stop and eat.

Ok standing here people watching multiple un happy customers. Long waits for food, tea, napkins, ketchup. Only one person taking orders. Drive thru orders not correct. They need more employees.
- MCMauricio Corrales6 days ago1.0Can’t even tell how frustrated about the service starting with the lady taken the order, terrible attitude not being friendly as should dealing with customers. My issue not checking the bag that missed a whole meal and 2 large fries, first and last time at this location. The burger that I received was OK but not what ordered, missing one patty so can’t honestly review the food, service -5 and can’t tell the atmosphere, I really hate to be this rude but definitely people hiring should pay attention.

It’s one of the few fast-food places in the U.S. where I’d genuinely feel comfortable bringing my family to dine in, which has become quite rare nowadays. Fries, Banana Pudding Shake and Honey BBQ Chicken Strip Sandwich Jr. were great. The sandwich is called ‘Jr.’ but is actually big!
