  If I could give less I would. I went to sonic today in gastonia. Sat at a drive up spot to order and pushed the button. And waited and waited and mind you there was 5 cars in drive thru and 3 cars parked ordering. Nothing. So I went to other side and pushed the button and waited 15 more minutes and still Noone answering so I gave up and left disappointed and hungry. You are a fast food place why can you not take our order.

  The young lady who brought my food out was actually very nice. However, I got a smasher burger and the meat was in pieces and the onions we chopped in huge cuts that I had to cut more. The fries were well done and not fresh. When I tried to call, they didn't answer. I hadn't had previous bad experiences other than the wait time but this definitely discouraged me from returning.

  This place is terrible. Waiting forever for someone to answer, forever to get food, and the food is subpar. I don't see now it's still in business. Nobody goes because of these issues.

  We placed an online order at this sonic and arrived 20 minutes after placing the order. We waited in the line for 20 minutes and we were the 2nd car in line. once we got our food we made sure we had everything and we didn’t so we waited for them to bring the missing items and had to wait an extra 20 minutes for one order of small chicken bites. It took an hour AFTER putting in a mobile order to get all of our food, which wasn’t even worth it because the food was cold by the time we got what was initially missing. I am not one to write bad reviews but for a FAST food restaurant this is ridiculous. This is probably my third time coming to this sonic and it has been this way every time, although I figured putting an online order might make it better. The staff didn’t even apologize or try to make it better by refunding even a fraction of the meal or giving us a coupon for next visit. I don’t believe I will be coming back here as the Shelby Sonic is faster and staff is much kinder. Don’t waste your time or money here because you won’t get treated the way you’re supposed to as a customer.

  I had gone to this sonic on a road trip, pulled in to order, placed, and checked in for my pickup on the app, but was unaware they are “drive through only” after 10pm. I sat in a stall for about 15 minutes after checking in for my order, then clicked the button on the stall to ask where my order was, and was rudely told “its drive through only after 10pm”. So I pulled around to ask for my food, to be told there is no order under my name. Then proceeded to wait 15+ minutes in said drive through for the food I had ordered over 30 minutes ago.
