The Alice Springs lunch chicken is sooo good. It is grilled and very tender with a layer of cheese, bacon and mushrooms on top. I should have told them no mushrooms, they are not for me. It comes with fries but I asked for a baked potato instead. It was just out of the oven and so fluffy and delicious especially with the butter added. Even before the meal is brought out, they leave a small loaf of bread and butter. The waitress was friendly and kept the drinks refilled. The hostess was nice as well. My only negative is the loud music. It is hard to hear other people at the table talking with it blaring out so loud. But this seems to be a common theme at other restaurants too. Will definitely go back.

Our meal at Outback Steakhouse was okay once it finally arrived, but the restaurant seemed woefully understaffed. It took about an hour to receive our food on a Sunday evening, which was especially difficult with children who were doing their best to hold it together through such a long wait. To make matters worse, we were overcharged on the final bill and had to ask for it to be corrected. The staff appeared to be working hard, so this seemed less like an individual service problem and more like the restaurant simply did not have enough people scheduled to operate smoothly. The food itself was fine, but between the hour-long wait and incorrect bill, the entire evening felt like a strugglebus.

Had an awful experience today. When we get there to sign in the hostesses (who was the manager) said she would get our name in a minute bevause they were seating a party of 12. She walked away and never came back. A new hostesses appeared looked at us sitting on the seat but never spoke. Another person walked in she signed in then the hostesses asked if we had been helped. We get seated immediately. Our server tells us how many tables and parties she has before she ever takes our drink order. We ordered 2 steaks 1 came out correctly the other was well done not medium. The manager brought part of our food out we asked for an extra ranch, it never came and the manager never came back. The waitress checked on us we asked for a ranch it didn't come. We asked a 3rd time for a ranch and finally got it. We are almost finished trying to leave the booth table with 4 adults and 2 kids but the waitress wants to clean our table and has the tray on a stand blocking us from getting out. She told us to put any plates we were done with on the tray and walked away. When she came back to finish cleaning the table I assured her if she would let us get up from the booth we would be out of the way for her to have all the room she needed to clear the table. Thus branch needs a new overview from corporate!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an outstanding dinner at Outback in Gastonia. I ordered the New York Strip cooked medium-rare with a side of sweet potatoes, and both were prepared perfectly. The steak was incredibly tender—it practically melted in my mouth and reminded me of the premium beef I enjoyed growing up on a cattle farm in southern Iowa. It was one of those meals that brings back good memories. My server, Natalie, matched the quality of the food with exceptional service. She seemed to anticipate what I needed before I even had to ask. My drink stayed filled, everything arrived at just the right time, and she struck that rare balance of being attentive without ever feeling intrusive. Natalie also recommended the skillet chocolate chip cookie topped with vanilla bean ice cream. It arrived fresh from the oven, warm and steaming, and it was the perfect ending to an already excellent meal. One final note: Natalie carried herself with a warm, welcoming presence and a genuine smile that made the whole dining experience even more enjoyable. Great food, outstanding service, and genuine hospitality make this Outback well worth the visit.

I will have to say I'm very disappointed in the quality of my experience at this Outback location in Gastonia. I will start off by say we were greeted but 2 very nice young women and seated immediately, and our waitress (Brandy) was very quick to come to our table and get our drink and appetizer orders. Brandy was great!!!!! So after she came back and got our food order and after checking on us several times came back to tell the kitchen had burned part of my order and was having to cook me another. When my food arrived my steak which I always order rare was cooked almost well done and my ribs (which were what they burned) had charcoal like outer surface and were as dry as the desert. The server offered to have my stuff remade and was very apologizing, but I declined the offer, And I ate what I could of it. Would have been nice if a manager would have stopped by to check on the situation but seems to not be a priority for customer service with management. To say the least I won't go back and waste $125.00 in Outback in Gastonia
