  Use extreme caution when buying the store brand, especially items like milk, cheeses, frozen seafood, and any other foods that truly expire. The "use by" dates on a lot of these aren't accurate, and the quality isn't the best. For example, three different times in the past couple of months my milk has gone bad as soon as 5 days before the use by, ruining the dishes and wasting food. Another thing I find annoying is the produce department. Selection is pretty bad and it tends to go bad super quickly as well. They are also bad about not having certain produce items in stock, but just sticking a similar item in it's spot. At least take the sign down. If you ask if something is in back, all but one worker just say no (the remaining worker always happily checks). You also can not get prime cuts of meat here. Another issue is the workers blocking the aisIes while stocking. They roll out huge carts overflowing with product and most of them do not bother to move. I honestly would not shop here if there were more options in the area.

  I live 4 mins from this food lion and I shop at this location weekly. The cashier I can’t remember her name so please allow a little description (Black older lady, blonde hair , short cut, wears glasses). She was very very very rude!! I’ve had two previous encounters with her but today took the cake I won’t go into detail but she did tell me if I had an issue to tell the manager so they will fire her. As if it would never happen. This lady “Slung” my soda (watch the camera). And refused to give my aunt her change!! The first encounter we had she was looking in my purse and accused me of stealing!!!! This is too much. I will be calling corporate!
