This happened today about 5 mins ago. The only difference between the other customer and myself was ✊🏿. By the fresh veggie area. A man rolled up on a motorized cart. I was already there searching up and down for something. An employee went out of his way to ask the man if he needed help finding something. I needed help as well so I stayed close by. This employee went out of his way not to look in my direction. It was extremely obvious and off putting. (I was basically standing right next to him at one point). He looked in EVERY direction but mines. Even tried to turn side ways to walk away so he wouldn’t have to acknowledge me. I left and will NEVER be back. Look at your cameras

That Food Lion is seriously racist, always staring at me just because I'm Black. I tried talking to a woman, but she just looked and walked away. I almost had to smack her, so I left—they really suck.

The way the front manager is towards the employees and talks about her sons coming to handle people is completely ridiculous. I heard with my own ears how the heavy set lady I believe is named Nancy treats the sweetest cashier and I didn't approve. When I approached another employee about it I was told it does no good to tell the front end manager about her bc they are friends. The cashier is the sweetest most kind person I've meet there. And she shouldn't be treated like that. I've seen it on multiple occasions and I bit my tongue about it. The last incident happened on Tues and Ive ponder on making this review. The cashier ask for help and the heavy set lady hollard at her and was completely rude. When the cashier started to cry I knew I had to speak up. I use to love this store but with leaders like her I'll drive an extra 6 min to go to another one as long as she's there.
