  Microphones in drive thru don't work so employees can't hear your order, and then they aren't polite about asking you to repeat your order 3 times. Then they must not have heard it still because it was wrong, and then once you get you order, the drinks are terrible because there isn't enough syrup in them. Go to the East Franklin McDonald's, it's much better

  Quick stop, but a good one. Clean, updated McDonald’s with a surprisingly modern interior and plenty of space to relax. Easy in, easy out — solid road trip reset.

  The McDonald’s 500 (A Masterclass in Chaos) ​ ​I have never seen a company so blinded by drive-thru "timer" metrics that they’ve effectively transformed their parking lot into a disorganized staging area for a drag race. In a desperate bid to keep their window times low for corporate, the staff is now "parking" cars in every available inch of pavement, stacking them three and four deep past the window. ​The "Park and Pray" Logistics ​It’s absolute chaos. Once you finally receive your food, the real challenge begins: a high-stakes game of automotive Tetris. Patrons are forced to back up and wiggle through a maze of idling vehicles just to escape the property. It’s not a drive-thru; it’s an obstacle course. ​The Delivery Disaster ​The "service" is where the wheels truly fall off. Instead of a steady flow, the staff brings out a massive batch of orders all at once, leading to a comedy of errors: ​ The Identity Crisis: Expect total confusion as the staff tries to figure out why the Red Corolla received the Black Yukon’s meal. ​Randomized Priority: The queue logic is nonexistent. I watched a Grey Prius (the last to arrive) get their food while a Yellow Soul sat there aging in real-time. ​The Forgotten: There is a genuine sense of shock when an employee realizes they’ve completely abandoned the "Papaw" in the silver Towncar on the far side of the building. He only wanted a black coffee and a hashbrown, yet he’s been left in the shadows like a forgotten relic. ​The Verdict: If McDonald's is going to prioritize "speed" on paper over the actual customer experience, they should at least hire a flagman for the starting line. You're running a fast-food restaurant, not a demolition derby. Get it together.
