  I was in town visiting family this week and haven't shopped at Food Lion since they were closed almost 15 years ago in my state (Florida). This particular store is so much better than what I remember the stores were like! Stocked shelves, clean, great selection, and prices reasonable especially the BOGOs. Wish there was one near me again.

  This is my favorite food lion in Fayetteville……UPDATE: August 2026 - not anymore. I’ve been coming here every two weeks for a long time to cash my payroll check. Suddenly i come today and a young man I’ve never seen working at the customer service counter tells me my check can’t be cashed because it “isn’t stamped” but it’s the same payroll check I’ve always had. They just unfortunately lost my business to Walmart. I’m not happy about it at all.
