  Today, around 12:40 p.m., I went to Customer Service to purchase a $750 money order. I was told that a manager needed to approve the transaction because of the amount, which I understood. However, the manager never came to assist me, and I was left waiting without any update or explanation. The second issue involved my payment. I usually use Apple Pay because I don’t normally carry my physical card. I was told that I needed to enter my card’s PIN to complete the transaction. The associate also stated that they are always supposed to require a PIN and that they could get in trouble if they didn’t. However, I have purchased money orders many times in the past using Apple Pay and have never been asked to enter a PIN, so this explanation did not seem consistent with my previous experiences. Because of the way I was treated and the inconsistencies in the information I was given, I left feeling frustrated and embarrassed. I also left with the impression that I may have been treated differently because of my race. I cannot say for certain that this was the reason, but it is how the experience made me feel. I would appreciate it if this matter could be reviewed so that other customers do not have a similar experience.

  I don’t know who is running this store but some improvements need to be made. I’ve done 2 mobile pick up orders and both times were bad I always have to return something or switch it out because the quality is terrible. I bought 2 bags of bruschetta bread just to come home and find them open already like wide open. I also got some grapes they looked old and brown. I of course went to the store to try and switch these items out just for the lady working the self checkout to say the customer service desk is closed and I would have to wait an hour to get help, now I get it people go on break and are maybe short staffed but for her to basically tell me no one can assist while she was right there to me was insane. So I just forget it and get it myself to then later file a dispute in the app to hopefully get a refund. I walk to the back near the bakery items and I find what I’m looking for just to see ALL the bags of them are wide open on the shelf, so that leads me to believe whoever packed my items saw these open bags and decided to just pack it anyway. It’s very disgusting and unprofessional and this store needs a quality update because this is ridiculous I will not be ordering pick up orders anymore I will be grabbing my own items from now on.
