  Apparently cashier 0143 felt it was appropriate today to ask another customer if I was stealing from the hot bar! It’s important to hire people with morals and common sense. She bursted my green beans and never asked an associate to bring more, I got them on my own. I even let her know it was a melon she needed to scan she didn’t look for. After paying for my items I noticed a friend and decided to speak. Cashier 0143 didn’t know that her customer was retired military and law enforcement and my family/friend. She took it upon herself to ask if I was stealing from the hot bar! I confronted her about it, she showed a condescending and passive aggressive attitude. Fayetteville is a city of military and veterans, I’m also a veteran. Is this the standard of how we are treated? Is 0143 a liability for slander at this point? How do we move forward with standards? And to add there were plenty of associates working… I was also parked in the handicap spot with dv plates and no urgency. Fix it!

  This location is very clean, well organized, and there is a security car that patrols the lot.

  Okay, I do paid grocery pickup and staff has been slow to get my order out at times, and forgotten I was waiting (30 minutes) once. When FL stores don't have a lot of grocery pickup orders and a staff member dedicated to the service, it's usually obvious like this.

  I would give zero stars if I could. The only positive thing about this shopping experience this morning 8/16/26 was the young man that helped my family check out. Besides that, none of the employees even bothered to greet us. They were stocking the shelves and had aisles partially blocked. They were acting like we were in their way and we had to shop around them. It was very inconvenient. While going to checkout we witnessed several employees staring at my family and not saying anything to us but talking amongst each other into their headsets. It gave the impression that we were trying to steal. I took part of our groceries (baby food) to a different checkout lane with one of the employees that was staring at my family. While my husband had the other young man ring up the rest of the groceries. She helped a man in front of me ring up steaks and he said he didn't have his wallet. The man left and she proceeded to gossip with another employee about it, instead of being focused on trying to ring me up. She had her badge turned around so I couldn't see her name. I asked her if they had alot of theft at this location. She stated it was everyday. While we do understand that theft is prevalent, we didn't appreciate being treated like we weren't paying customers. I will not shop at this location again.

  Listen I went to food lion today . This associate Damonte was friendly nice and has an amazing personality he is professional and care about his work he looked new as well The customer service I had today is one I never had in years ! I love that employee I have to come back just to see him ! Food lion mangers you have a good one on you guys hands ! Keep going Damonte see you soon
