    The place looked dirty, the counter looked sloppy and unkept. I have seen other Cava establishments that were clean. Its the first thing you see as you enter. I will not be returning. Management needs to ensure staff is providing a clean environment for customers.

    Last Saturday, I visited Cava and had a very unpleasant experience with one of the employees. I understand the restaurant was extremely busy, but that does not excuse rude customer service. The young lady who was originally working the register ended up helping prepare food. When I asked for a little more corn on my bowl, she sarcastically added what looked like five scoops. The restaurant was packed, and I didn’t want to make a scene, so I simply took the bowl to go and planned to remove the excess myself. To make matters worse, she attempted to place my food in the bag with the lid unsecured. I had to take the bowl out and close it myself. The same thing happened with the second bowl, so I asked her to hand it to me so I could properly secure the lid before putting it in the bag. After leaving, I called the store to speak with the manager. He offered me a gift card, but I explained that my issue was not about money, it was about the poor customer service. Instead of addressing the behavior appropriately, he responded by saying that next time to specify how many scoops I wanted. I explained that I simply asked for “a little more,” and adding an excessive amount in a sarcastic manner was unacceptable. His response frustrated me even more, so I decided to email corporate and included a picture of my food. Corporate responded by giving me a reward for a free bowl or pita. When I returned today to have my bowl remade, the general manager “Boss Lady” was there. She was very professional and positive from the moment I walked in. After I explained why I had the free bowl reward, she told me she had already been made aware of the situation through corporate. She also acknowledged that being busy is not an excuse for poor service and confirmed that the manager should have handled the situation better at the time. I explained to her that before walking in, I was honestly hoping the rude employee wouldn’t be there because I did not have the time or energy for another bad experience. Thankfully, the GM handled everything professionally and respectfully. She even gave me a coupon for a free bowl and drink. She was exactly the kind of leader that restaurant needed in that moment, and I truly appreciated how she handled the situation.

    I recently wrote a review about this place a couple of weeks ago, and left 4 stars. I said I would be back to get a better experience and I did just that! The customer service from Yana was very amazing, she’s super respectful and got us in and out without us feeling rushed. She spoke to my child like an actual human being and didn’t speak over him while he was talking (he’s 8 and loves to order for himself). She explained how the salmon is portioned and even gave us a disclaimer about the harissa (yes it is super spicy but a good spicy lol), let us know about all up charges and made sure to give her coworkers time to get the other orders out of the way before bringing more down so it wouldn’t pile on them. This is great customer service, she also didn’t talk very fast like last time which made it easier for us to understand her! Thank you Yana, and thank you Cava for employing such a joy.

    My husband and I visited Cava for the first time today. The associates were friendly and inviting. Especially the manager Boss Lady. I tried the new salmon and it was very delicious! Definitely recommend!! For our first visiting, navigating the menu was made easy by the order aids on the window. We enjoyed our experience and will be back. P.S DONT SKIP THE PITA CHIPS.

    I absolutely love CAVA. the food is always fresh and delicious, and it’s one of my favorite places to eat. Unfortunately, the customer service has consistently been disappointing. Every time I visit, the staff comes across as rude and unwelcoming. Portions are noticeably small, and when I politely ask for a bit more, the response often feels annoyed with gestures like heavy sighing or eye rolling. It creates an uncomfortable atmosphere that makes me hesitate to return, which is frustrating because I genuinely enjoy the food. I hope management can address this, because the experience should match the quality of the meals.
