  1) food was kinda mid, i could’ve honestly made better fried porkchops and mac at home… 2) interior is pretty bland, not somewhere you would want to sit down in, more so pick up and leave 3) lady working at cashier was super friendly and nice

  The food and service at Vittles is always great. It has become a famiky favorite when we are close by. My favorite is the jerk salmon, the portions are large and the flavor is delicious. The butter beans and corn remind me of my grandmother's so its always aprt of my order. The fried okra is always cooked to order and comes out hot. My favorite dessert is the Honeybun cake. Always good food and service from their staff as well.

  This place is great. I ordered a plate of their oxtail as well as jerk chicken, everything came out amazing.

  The reviews about the horrible customer service are valid!!! I wanted to place an online order, but could not add an entree to the cart, despite being listed on the menu. So, I thought the reasonable thing to do would be to call the business to see if they were out of the order, or if there was a glitch in the system. Bad idea! A female who sounded as though she’d rather be anywhere else, kept answering the phone and asking me to hold without even waiting for a response. While waiting, I listened to her take order after order after order inside the restaurant. Were they busy? Sure! But, a customer is a customer whether inside or outside the restaurant. Instead of pausing for 30 seconds to find out what I even wanted, I was kept on hold for 5 minutes. Called back, same thing happened. I’m sorry, but my coins spend digitally just like the customers in store and for said reasons, I will spend them elsewhere!

  Very good food and the portions are generous! I feel like I got my money’s worth. Much better than SFG, IMO. The greens were some of the best I’ve ever had. I loved the smoked turkey in them. The yams were phenomenal and I liked that they added nutmeg to them. The veggies tasted very fresh. Nothing canned here. The curry chicken was fantastic. It wasn’t spicy at all, which was unexpected, but still good. The fish was pretty good as well. I also liked the lemonade kool aid in the bottles. Very nostalgic. The only thing that was NOT good was the mac n cheese. Do not get it or you will be disappointed. If they revamped their mac n cheese recipe they would be unstoppable. Other than that, I would definitely recommend coming here. The service up front was great and the young lady answered my questions patiently. I will be back!
