  What a fun little place right here off MLK & Roxboro in Durham. We were there for lunch, and were pleasantly surprised by the cool vibe, the friendly staff and the flavorful food! The portions are big for that they charge and everything was fresh and delicious. As a vegetarian, I can rarely get a Torta so it was great to get one with the vegan chicken. Will definitely go again!

  Yesterday we went for our first time. It’s been challenging to find really good Mexican food as we moved from CA. Until now! First impressions are everything. The design of this place feels super cool! As if out for social fun with friends. They serve margaritas and have options at the bar behind the counter where you order and get your number. The food was so good. I had the taco beef barria, steak taco and a side of pinto rice and beans. Hubby has a chicken burrito and said it was very delicious with good flavors, and a decent size. I don’t normally like horchata OMG theirs was not sugary and you could taste notes of cinnamon. We met Ery who took our order. He is fantastic and welcomed us with warmth and introduced us to his colleague as well. Felt like being among friends. I sent the link to two of my friends who are also going to stop by. In the market, pricing is very important to folks and so it is nice to be able to go somewhere get food that tastes great and a quality ambiance without breaking the bank. It often makes the decision as to whether you will go out or not and whether you will become repeat customers. This is that place for all of the reasons above. Go and say hi to Ery!

  Hoy me di la oportunidad de comer en un lugar donde un joven y su esposa que conoci en la calle me invitaron , Ery y su esposa me hicieron sentir mejor que en mi casa ,el trato ,la educación, el recibimiento . El y su esposa me ayudaron a decidir que comer y tomar ,y la verdad tengo que venir a este restaurante todos los días ,Ery tiene una sonrisa y como una gracia alrededor que hace de este restaurante un lugar de paz con buen sabor . Muy buena cómida y muy buena administración .El mejor restaurante .Gracias Ery

  This is my third time being to this location. Unfortunately it will also probably be my last. I had inexcusable service. We ordered our dinner at 8:04, after 20 minutes I went up to check at the pick up window for our dine-in order. No one greeted me I looked at the 3 carry out bags and none were labeled as our meal so I sat back down with my date. After an additional 20 minutes I walked up and stood and had to flag down the cashier to ask about our order. He looks at the order screen for the kitchen side scrolls though and doesn’t see our order, follows up with the younger lady to assist. She asks us if we were sure of which dine in number we were. She goes to the cash register to verify our order. She finds it and is shocked that our order from 8:04 wasn’t served by 8:43. To which she asks us if we were sure if we didn’t receive our meal. Without saying a word she walks over to the side and starts talking to the cook. So there I stood at the pick up window for 3 minutes staring at her as she moved on to look at the 3 door dash orders and finally I have to ask her what she was going to do about our meal. Finally 15 minutes later without her saying a word to us, we finally get our meal. No communication just left wondering why I wasted 45 dollars on a dinner for two at this restaurant that clearly doesn’t give a damn about even checking up on customers that have been in their store for long enough to get two refills of soda. I didn’t raise my voice or cause a scene for the other guest just quietly will take my money to other restaurants that are not this poorly ran. Fully disappointed in the handling of this interaction.

  I had such a great experience at Tacos Number Juan, and a huge part of that was thanks to Ery. He was super friendly and welcoming when I came in. He chatted with me about the menu, and he took his time explaining everything and giving us great recommendations. What really stood out, though, was how attentive he was even after the food came out. He personally came by to check on us, made sure everything was good, and that we had everything we needed. That kind of service really makes a difference and shows he cares about the customer experience. Ery went above and beyond, and it made the whole visit feel more personal instead of just another meal out. On top of that, the atmosphere and music were great, and the food was honestly some of the best I’ve had around here. Definitely coming back!
