  My daughter ordered birria quesadillas from DoorDash while visiting NCCU and raved about them so we had to visit as family. 10/10. Food came out very quickly, prepared perfectly. The loaded fries (I know, weird choice) were some of the best loaded fries ever. They use a chip style fry so it actually holds the toppings. Shrimp torta, and birria tacos were also delicious. Also super cool vibe and carefully curated art like no other. Can’t wait to visit again.

  We had the best experience with Taco Number Juan for our catering! 🌮 Everything was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. We got the taco bar, and it was perfect for our gathering—there was something for everyone, and our guests absolutely loved it. The setup was convenient, the presentation was great, and the food was a huge hit. The tacos were flavorful, the toppings were fresh, and everything was so well organized. Highly recommend Taco Number Juan for catering if you’re looking for delicious food, great service, and a stress-free experience! 🌮❤️

  Thoroughly enjoyed my Quesabirria Combo! Everything was absolutely delicious, and the portion size was perfect for a Sunday lunch. Special thanks to Rio for letting me know I could mix it up with one beef taco and one chicken taco because I was definitely having a hard time choosing! The service was fast and friendly, and the atmosphere was so welcoming and cozy. I also love the unique decor—it gives the restaurant so much character. Tacos Number One never disappoints! Great food, great service, and a great atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back! 🌮❤️

  One of our favorite spots! Such a hidden gem for some reason?! it needs more love! Always the friendliest staff, food is always fresh, and FAST! Rio was amazing from start to finish. Honestly, never a bad experience.

  This was my initial visit, and I experienced a significant delay in placing my order, followed by an even longer wait to receive my meal, which unfortunately was incorrect. When I returned it for correction, I waited for over an hour without receiving the rectified order. I was informed that only a manager could process a refund, and regrettably, no manager was available at the time. I do not plan to return in the future, as this was a very disappointing first experience.
