I had the fried green tomato appetizer which was much larger than expected and so yummy. Also got the shrimp poboy which was refreshing and crispy. My friends catfish poboy was delicious as well!

Our party of 3 all had yummy food. Our granddaughter loved the smoked brisket sandwich with the smashed potatoes. I had the shrimp and catfish with the smashed potatoes and coleslaw which was excellent. My husband had jumbalaya And was disappointed that there wasn't more in the way of protein besides the sausage. We did enjoy the beverage selection and it was a beautiful night to sit outside and eat.

Great place to see local, small performances. The food is not bad, but vary on each visit.
And servers are wonderful, but the food delivery can be sloooow!
I'm a sucker for live music, even unknown, local, very local performers.
This is not for everyone. But if you like small, unrecognized bands (bands is a stretch), but dancing in any environment, this place will work for you.
I like this place. Some come just for the food. I come to support local talent.
I think it's a gem for supporting local talent and dancing!
Others just enjoy the comfort food indoors or outdoors.
Parking options exist, but can require some creativity. Parking on top, to the left of the spot is an option.
Definitely worthy of trying at least once. I'll certainly be back.
Places like this is one of the reasons I love being a resident of Durham!❤️❤️❤️

The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. It was my first time eating there and it was hard to even decide what I wanted to try. I wish they had a sampler tray that you could try different items like the red beans and rice, jambalaya, fried green tomatoes, succotash, shrimp and grits and the brisket. I will definitely be going back to dine here.

My husband heard very good things about this place, and wanted to check it out. I'm torn about what to say. The food was good but just not my taste. The shrimp was coated in cornmeal and to me was kind of gritty. The potatoes however were off the chart. My husband loved his brisket. The rum cake was some of the best cake I've ever eaten. The peach bread pudding was ok. So to summarize. I thought it was . My husband loved it. May sure to get a reservation before you go, it not very big. I would like to try it again before I make my final thoughts.
