  It was graduation weekend and super busy. It started off rough because they got our table late vs our reservation time. However, when we actually got seated, our waitress handled our table smoothly and got our food in a timely manner. After a few drinks our table got a little crazy, and they still patiently handled our group and made sure all our food was made to satisfaction. No regrets on the location chosen.

  Kennedy P was our server and she was AMAZING. She was so attentive and kind, we were in a rush and she was so accommodating! If we were from here, we would definitely be back and ask for her :)

  We did a togo order about an hour before close. We ordered a blooming burger medium well and a new steak sandwich. My burger was medium rare. Super pink. That was disappointing. I had to microwave the burger to get it cooked to where I wanted it. The steak sandwiche was tasty but the steak was chewy. My husband said when he reheated it the next day it was better but everything else was soggy. Everything in the order was correct and the staff was friendly. I just expected a STEAKHOUSE to be able to correctly cook steak.

  we were served bread with visible mold on it. We brought it to the server’s attention and he promptly replaced it, but no manager came to address the issue which was concerning. We had just come from a long day at the doctor for a family member’s surgery, so we stayed to eat, but I would encourage others to check their food at this location. Great service overall by Eduardo, but the food safety issue was disappointing.

  Outback Steakhouse – Durham, North Carolina We visited earlier in the evening than my usual late-night stops, and it made a noticeable difference in the overall experience. There was plenty of parking available, which is typical for this location. Upon entering, we were immediately greeted at the host stand and promptly seated in a booth without any wait. Our server came to the table right away and remained extremely attentive throughout the entire meal. Both entrées were cooked perfectly, exactly as ordered. At one point, what appeared to be a manager delivered our entrées to the table, checked on us, and thanked us for coming in. That extra level of engagement didn’t go unnoticed and added to the overall experience. About halfway through our visit, a large party—easily 30 or more people—arrived, and our server ended up taking them on as well. Even with that added pressure and clearly being in the weeds, she never let our table fall off her radar. She continued to check on us consistently and stayed engaged through the entire experience. We paid using the table-side payment device, but unlike some past experiences at other locations, she remained present during checkout—asking if we needed a paper receipt and confirming details like entering a phone number. That level of follow-through stood out. Going earlier in the evening versus closer to closing made a significant difference in service quality. This visit was a clear step up in attentiveness and overall experience.
