  My Personal experience at Dames was great I highly recommend the waffles, specially the a cinnamon crème cheese waffles. Most of the time wgeb people make something with a cinnamon base, it’s lacking that cinnamon flavor but these were perfect and the sauces and smear on the side all worked well together. It all worked together for a well balanced taste. Also the inside was very clean and beautiful images diving into black history. I wish I remembered our waiters name but he was amazing too, big thanks to Dames Chicken and Waffles, I highly recommend.

  It was ok. I got chicken, waffles and a mimosa. The chicken was amazing. The waffle wasn’t great. My server was nice but she never really checked on me. I wanted to order additional items but when she finally came back she had the bill so I just paid. I also don’t love the new location. Parking is challenging and it’s across from a morgue. (I have a strong sense of smell so I could sense the formaldehyde in the air).

  They moved about in February apparently. When I got there I thought we were lost. (Who gets lost these days? 🤷🏽‍♀️) The place is larger than before. They have a bar and outside seating now. The good is as good as ever. And Destiny was a delightful server.

  Table for one. There’s a parking lot that is strictly reserved for the restaurant and it’s free. I read some reviews that said there wasn’t parking and parked around the corner, but now I know and you do too. The meals do come with one side. Another thing a review had wrong, stating the sides were Al la carte. I did add on an extra side. Also enjoyed the mocktail Purple Reign. Didn’t take photos of my food, but I had The Buff Brahmas with Mac & Cheese and the Collard greens. Loved the vibes and wall art. My server was attentive and professional.
