  Would definitely give less than 1 star if I could. Ordered Large "The Works" Pizza today for carryout. We live about 3 miles away. This Was Most Pitiful Pizza I think have ever had !! Was told be ready 16 mins., ...But , Ordered it @ 11:41 am & paid / picked it up @ 11:49 am (8 minutes -- verified by their receipt). This pizza had to have been already made & sitting. It was barely warm at best & rather tough / dried out. It wasn't even warm enough to melt the garlic butter dipping sauce that was in box with the pizza. The Ingredients (what there were of them -- were very skimpy ) did not even cover the pizza. There was about 2 inches of crust most all way around pizza & crust was very uneven, tough & tasted like cardboard. Pizza's were on special for 50% off ....It appears they use 50% less ingredients to make up for special price. Papa John's used to be really good....But from this location in Denver, NC... It's Bad at best ! >> Will Not Be Ordering From This Location Again !! SAVE YOUR MONEY .....YOU'RE LOT BETTER OFF GETTING A DIGIORNO PIZZA AT GROCERY STORE !! It will be better.

  I don’t think I’ll be ordering from here again. The pizza quality came like it had been sitting on the counter for hours. I’ve had pizza that’s been sitting out and this pizza definitely was old. It was cold and the toppings had been sitting. Not super fresh. Got cinnamon pull aparts and I was almost uncomfortable to eat them it looked like someone picked the tops off a bunch of them. I feel disgusting now that I ate this pizza I should of refused it honestly.

  Spent 28 bucks on 2 garbage pizzas. They put cheese on wherever they wanted instead of all of it like they’re supposed to, ordered online and left as soon a I placed it which is 15 min away and was still cold. Tasted like cardboard. Frozen pizza is better than this. Really disappointed in this franchise

  The manager of the Denver NC store continues to close the store and shut off the ovens 10-15min before closing. This os the 2nd time I've had an online order cancelled due to the store closing early and/or shutting down the ovens earlier than store closing hours. If you closing time is 10:45-50, then put that on the website. Don't put 11p. Perhaps, you should adjust the app to not allow orders to be placed after 10:45-10:50p. I will place this on my Instagram, X and FB. I will vote for the members of my fraternity to boycott Papa Johns for 60-days accordingly. Let's see if affecting the sales will get managements attention.
