  This was our first visit at Mayworth’s Public House, and we can’t wait to come back! Our server Whitney was amazing, and the food was absolutely delicious. The manager even came out to give us a personal welcome once he heard it was our first time. If you’re looking for great food and a local atmosphere in the heart of downtown Cramerton, this is the spot!

  We were helping move our daughter into college near Belmont Abbey and wanted to grab one last family lunch before heading home. We ended up at Mayworth's Public House in Cramerton, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. This is exactly what you'd expect from a neighborhood pub—good bar food, a relaxed atmosphere, plenty of TVs, and friendly service. We stopped in on a quiet Sunday afternoon, and our waitress was attentive, kept our drinks filled, and made us feel welcome throughout the meal. The food was solid, especially for the price. My turkey club was excellent, the cheeseburger quesadilla was a standout, and the buffalo chicken tacos were also very good. The fries were crispy and hot, and overall we thought the prices were fair and not inflated. My only complaint was the pretzel bites. They tasted like frozen appetizers you could buy at the grocery store, so I'd probably skip those next time. We also had our two-year-old grandson with us, and it was a great place for families. He could color, be a little loud without anyone seeming to mind, and the spacious dining room made everyone feel comfortable. This isn't fine dining, and it isn't trying to be. It's a neighborhood pub serving good food in a fun, casual environment with a solid beer selection and friendly people. Sometimes that's exactly what you're looking for, and Mayworth's delivered. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in the Belmont Abbey/Cramerton area.

  Same place, food though it got ruined! Not sure why the taste and the quality changed drastically. Will be there for the beer and the nachos!

  Chic and Casual - We’re from out of state and I loved our experience here! Everything from service to the food was excellent! A versatile menu with healthy options - Balsamica Chicken was delicious! Love a place that is clean, modern with background music not music that’s overbearing - I’m definitely glad we drove out there as it was a great place for our group to converse over a great meal!

  Extremely disappointed with dinner this evening. Having been here a number of times, the food has always been great and we've never had an issue. When we arrived this evening around 5:15 we noticed that the restaurant was noticeably warm. We were seated, ordered some drinks and then ordered our meals. After our server informed us that several of our selections were not available we settled on other items off the menu. Our food was not prepared so much as reheated and plated. My wife ordered the salmon, and since that is her favorite food when she described it as one of the worst salmon meals she's ever had that is saying something. I had the barbecue and it was not good. I asked our server if they were having issues in the kitchen and she simply replied that several people had called out today including the manager and that they had had a really rough day. I completely understand when everything goes sideways, but I also feel that if you don't know something is wrong you can't fix it. My goal of this review is to let them know that something was definitely wrong at the restaurant this evening. We will likely come back but it will be quite some time and while we have recommended this restaurant to many family and friends I cannot do so now in good conscience. I certainly hope that things improve as this is one of our favorite places in Cramerton.
