- ICIrene CJul 3, 20261.0To Food Lion Management: please train your staff better at how to engage respectfully with your customers. Yesterday around 4:30 I was at self checkout with one box of ice cream bars. For some reason, the woman monitoring self -checkout said loudly in an accusatory tone “ma’am did you scan that?”, as though I was trying to shoplift a box of ice cream. It was very clear on my screen that it was scanned and had my wallet out to pay. There are dozens of other ways she could have checked if I’d scanned the item rather than being accusatory and rude. Maybe that team member was just having a bad day. But for this interaction over a 5.99 box of ice cream, you’ve lost thousands of dollars in our business. We have lots of choices of where to take our hard earned money, and it won’t be here. Do better please.

Food is fresh and good prices and weekly sales with Food Lion's card. They always have great fruit, and their hot bar ir less expensive than some of the other local stores!

People come all over different neighborhoods to shop there do the friendly staff great food very safe and clean very safe parking ! Is the must beautiful food lion ever great music grea prices the staff is very helpful! Enjoy my beloved son Andreas working there all his life high school and college! The company is wonderful with students in our community! My son Andreas willingly on saving for college! He works long hours during the summer. It built his character of hard work! My husband Henry Myers of Davidson famously love Food Lion! Thank you so much in teaching my son hard work!!? I like it ❤️❤️❤️
