  I am a faithful Showmars customer. I eat lunch at the 7th St location in Charlotte all of the time and get my favorite salad, a grilled chicken chef and it is always excellent. The family and i were out shopping this past Saturday and decided to stop at this location and i couldn’t believe the difference the salad was literally a bowl full of iceberg lettuce, which it should have been mixed greens and romaine and a little piece of chicken that was rock hard because it was so dry and the shredded cheese tasted like it sat out all day and dried out. My husband had a burger and that was also super dry! A definite no for me and I’m not sure if it was the manager with the blue eyes, but he was up front while we were ordering and we were with 3 kids and they were undecided on what they wanted so they were taking a little longer but he was getting annoyed. Needless to say i did not tip which i usually do not do, but glad i did not in this case almost $80.00 down the drain

  As an Antiochian Orthodox Christian, I observe fasting during the Lenten season, which means going long stretches without meat. As difficult as that can be at times, Shomar’s really makes it much easier to get through. Their fish sandwiches are incredible—especially the classic fish sandwich with tartar sauce. It’s simple, but consistently very good. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for solid meat-free options. My family really enjoys going there together, and it’s been a regular spot for us over the years. I believe my brother even worked there for a time, which makes it feel even more connected to our family. Overall, it’s a great place with reliable food and especially strong options for anyone avoiding meat.

  Absolutely horrible experience. I placed an online order and the fries were clearly listed as a side, but when I got there the owner wanted to get smart and argue with me like I was lying. I showed the owner (Andy) my receipt and he didn’t care. Instead of simply checking the order or fixing the problem, he caught an attitude and acted extremely rude and disrespectful. There was no customer service, no professionalism, and no accountability. If you’re going to run a business, learn how to speak to people properly. I will never spend my money here again and I strongly recommend others don’t either. I even told him I used to work as a general manager before and when that happens to keep repeat business you suppose to give the food to the customer which was only $2 and then I would of came back which of gave him more money then $2. So he lost business for that. I also contacted customer service regarding this matter. Since I’m a high school teacher I will go to work on Monday and tell all my students that often go to this restaurant and co workers not to visit this restaurant ever. So word a mouth can cause your business sales to decrease. You shouldn’t be an owner acting like that. Worst service I’ve had in a long time!

  i waited about 30 minutes for my food. when i asked them why it's taking so long it had been sitting on a shelf getting cold the whole time.
