I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. We chose this place to celebrate my daughter’s birthday lunch, and it was our first time visiting, which made the experience even more unfortunate.
We arrived around 1:30 PM, and surprisingly, there was no one else in the restaurant except our family. Initially, we assumed it was because of a weekday. After waiting about 5 minutes, a waiter came and handed us the menu. While we were still settling in and my kids had briefly stepped out to take some photos, the waiter rushed us by saying we needed to place the order by 2:15 PM as the kitchen would be closing.
We quickly called our kids back and placed a fully vegetarian order (as it was Thursday), including snacks, Veg Manchurian, momos, spring rolls, naan with paneer tikka masala, tawa biryani, and mango lassi.
What followed was quite surprising — everything was served within 15 minutes. The mango lassi came first, followed by all the starters, biryani, and naan almost at once, which made it feel rushed rather than a proper dining experience.
Coming to the food:
Veg Manchurian was very disappointing in taste
Momos were just average
Spring rolls clearly seemed like frozen items that were simply fried
Naan and paneer tikka masala were decent
We shared this feedback with the waiter immediately.
During the meal, it became extremely hot inside the restaurant, and everyone started sweating. When we asked the waiter to turn on the AC, he mentioned it was already set to 50 degrees, which was hard to believe as all the fans were running and the place still felt very uncomfortable.
To make things worse, the bill came to around $131 for vegetarian food for 5 people, which felt highly overpriced for the quality and experience. Just last week, we dined at another restaurant with 8 people, ordered multiple veg and non-veg starters, mains, biryanis, and lassi, and the total bill was almost the same.
Overall, the service felt rushed, the food quality was inconsistent, the ambiance was uncomfortable, and the pricing did not match the experience. Unfortunately, this was not a good choice for a special occasion.
