  Food was so good we went the next night for takeaway! Friday night we had a cocktail, domestic beer and tried two different Indian beers (which were really good). We had samosas to start - they were very very flavorful. For dinner we both had Butter Chicken (one mild and one medium). Both were exceptional. We had garlic naan and tried the cheese naan(which was amazing!!) Atmosphere was lovely and the staff were extremely friendly and attentive. We got to go meals the next night (medium butter chicken, Indian hot Tikka Masala and garlic naan) - just as good the next night! Rivals Indian food we've had in South Africa/Canada and the UK. Can't wait to go again!

  If you’re looking for completely outstanding, amazing Indian food, Red Chillez absolutely delivers. It’s the kind of place that easily becomes a favorite after just one visit.

  We had an amazing experience at this Indian restaurant. The owner, Vik, went above and beyond, he personally checked in on us, made sure every dish was to our liking, and made us feel incredibly welcome. The food was delicious, the atmosphere warm, and the prices very reasonable. Can’t wait to come back!”

  We moved from the Chicago area a year and a half ago, and had two or three very good Indian restaurants that we loved back there. When we moved to Charlotte I searched Yelp and bookmarked the three or four Indian restaurants that looked most promising. It’s taken us a while to make our way up to Red Chillez because it’s a little over 40 minutes drive from us, but we’re glad we finally did - it’s our favorite place that we’ve found here yet. We got the lamb vindaloo, lamb Rogan Josh, order of naan and rice, onion pakora, and samosas. The lamb was tender, and the flavor was great. The vindaloo was flavorful with a balanced heat, not just kick-your-teeth-in heat with no flavor. Service was friendly. The inside of the restaurant was casual, not a super fancy buildout, but clean and taken care of. We’ll definitely be back - worth the drive.
