  Lemme tell you. This place gets busy and hectic sometimes! But the staff there, cashiers, stockpeople, managers, they RUN it. I’ve been in customer service for almost 20 years now but I’m never disappointed when I come in. I do have to call out two young employees specifically though—Riley and Bee. Young people get dunked on for having poor work ethic… but not these two. They ran the front like a MACHINE, and with a smile too. Multiple lines, backed up… and they handled it, kept everyone organized and moving, while spreading good vibes. Yeah, it’s just Food Lion, sure. But when people put a smile on your face, it makes your experience and the day that much better. Two wonderful young ladies! Keep up the good work!

  Worst food lion in the area...Cashers area rude and sit outside and blow smoke in your face when you walk out !!They should not be allowed to smoke in front of the store...and the flies in the deli section where horrable and the lady was rude as Hell....I will shop elsewhere from now on...

  Stopped by here a week ago and picked up around ten items. Tried to go to a register and were told by the taller blonde kid with glasses we had to use self checkout. Ok no problem but we stopped by again tonight and picked up a similar amount of items, tried to use self checkout and were told by the same exact kid that "big orders have to use the register" which was backed up into the aisle. So which is it and why the different demands? Did my family look like we were going to steal or like we're just easy to boss around? I don't know but I've had enough of it. It's weird that I have issues only at this food lion. The one on Union Street has never once told me I had too many items for self checkout or that we had to use it. It seems like they just enjoy giving people a hard time here.

  Always very nice staff, and they have what I am looking for most of the time, they do sell out of things so that let's me know that they have fresh items on the shelves
