  Now, who reviews a Food Lion, you might ask? Well, I don’t really have a reason to, but why not. This Food Lion is pretty much what you’d expect from a standard Food Lion. The prices are very cheap, and, in line with that, the quality is fairly basic as well. That said, the real standout is their manager’s special on meat. In the mornings—typically around 7 to 8 a.m.—they mark down meats they need to sell that day. This includes steaks, T-bones, and other cuts that get reduced to prices you really won’t find anywhere else. To be clear, this isn’t high-end grass-fed, top-shelf beef. It’s just standard, budget-friendly steak. But if you’re looking to feed the family on a budget, it’s an excellent deal. We’ve actually made a habit of going in the mornings and picking up what’s marked down, and we’ll probably keep doing it as long as they keep running those specials.

  I’ve been shopping at the South Blvd Food Lion for a while now since I've moved from Nevada, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about one of the office person Carlos Ruiz. He is the definition of kindness; no matter how busy the store gets, he always treats every customer with genuine warmth and patience. Hearing that he’s transferring to the Poplar Tent location is heartbreaking me and my wife are truly going to miss his helpful spirit and friendly smile around here. You guys are getting an amazing soul.

  I wish I could honestly tip their ToGo staff or give each one a shout out. They’re all so awesome, helpful, and courteous. And any time I’ve interacted with any of the members of this Food Lion, they are always helpful.

  The Popular Tent Food Lion location is always clean & well stocked. It's been remodeled as many are getting updated. Something is always being added to the shelves which for me means they're doing well. When I need help there's an employee willing to take care of me with a smile. This visit a sales associate took time to help with a gift card that I was having an issue & she contd until my items were paid for. That's customer service! I have my 2 favorite Food Lion stores I frequent & this is definitely one of them.
