Bonefish Grill... the name is almost ironic at this point. For a restaurant literally named after fish, they sure don't know how to cook it. Let's start with the paper table covers. You've got waiters dressed in chef jackets trying to sell this place as high-end, and then you slap a paper tablecloth on the table? Come on. How cheap can you be? Are we in kindergarten? Only thing missing was crayons so I could draw on it while I waited. This honestly should've been our sign to walk out right then and there, but we decided to give them a chance anyway. Clearly regret that decision. We ordered the fish platter, which came with four different pieces of fish. Every single one was bland, tasteless, and dry. Even with sauces and other add-ons clearly meant to mask it, you can't hide the fact that they don't know how to cook fish. The real kicker was the salmon. Salmon is about as forgiving and foolproof as fish gets — it's often the first fish home cooks learn to make well. If you can't nail salmon, what exactly are you doing in the kitchen of a seafood restaurant? The sides weren't any better. The broccoli and spinach were mush, over-salted, and generally inedible. It's like they were overcooked and then reheated before hitting the table. The calamari deserves its own paragraph of disappointment. Rubbery, and the flavor was lacking across the board. The sauce was way too sweet and heavy-handed — a suggestion to the kitchen: add some acid to balance it out. Even with a lemon wedge on the side, the dish was still missing that acidity it desperately needed. And here's the thing — if calamari is cooked correctly, it doesn't need a sauce to mask the flavor in the first place. A good sauce should complement it, not cover for it. I don't know if they're reheating everything or what's going on back there, but this is highway robbery in broad daylight given the prices you're paying versus what you're actually getting. No seasoning, no finesse, just overcooked, dry fish and mushy sides across the board, dressed up in sauce to try and distract from it. Genuinely baffling for a place with "fish" in the name. Won't be back. Save yourself some money and go to a restaurant that actually knows how to cook fish.

We had a wonderful dining experience, and a big part of that was thanks to our server, Tammy. She provided exceptional customer service from the moment we were seated. Tammy was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever making us feel rushed. She had a great attitude, paid attention to every detail, and truly went above and beyond to make our meal enjoyable. It’s rare to receive service this outstanding, and she deserves to be recognized. Thank you, Tammy, for making our visit such a great experience—we look forward to coming back!

We had the absolute pleasure of celebrating my parents’ 40th wedding anniversary at Bonefish Grill in Concord Mills, and it was an experience we’ll never forget! Our party of 30 was served by Tariq and Callie, and they were nothing short of phenomenal. They were attentive, quick, incredibly accommodating, and made sure every guest felt cared for throughout the entire evening. Coordinating a large group is no small task, but they handled everything with professionalism, kindness, and a smile. A huge thank you to the entire Bonefish Grill staff for being so welcoming and helping make this milestone celebration so special. The atmosphere was beautiful, the food was absolutely delicious, and the service was outstanding from beginning to end. Our family had an amazing time creating memories together, and we truly appreciate everyone who played a part in making my parents’ 40th anniversary celebration so memorable. We highly recommend Bonefish Grill at Concord Mills for anyone looking for exceptional food, outstanding service, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Thank you again, Tariq, Callie, and the entire Bonefish Grill team!

Here’s a warmer, more personal version: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bonefish Grill has quickly become one of my favorite places to unwind after a long day! Every time I visit, the staff is welcoming, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the food is consistently delicious. If you’re looking for a great deal, I definitely recommend trying (two of the half-priced appetizers during happy hour) They don’t quite offer 1/2 off appetizers yet. It’s the perfect way to share, try different flavors, and still stay within your budget. Pair them with one of the $5 cocktails, and you really can’t go wrong! I always leave happy, full, and already looking forward to my next visit. If you haven’t been yet, I highly recommend stopping by—you won’t be disappointed! If you remember the appetizers or cocktail you ordered, I can personalize it even more by mentioning them by name.

We took our granddaughter along with her father and younger brother to dinner to celebrate her recent graduation. What was supposed to be an enjoyable evening was quickly ruined by our server, Kenyatte S's attitude. While placing our appetizer order I asked if the Orange Roughy that was one of the day's specials could be ordered simply grilled instead of parmesan crusted. It was stated that it could be on the specials menu, but I wanted to make sure that I was reading it correctly. She told me that it could be ordered that way. She returned with our appetizer and we placed our dinner orders. I ordered the Orange Roughy grilled with sauteed spinach and asparagus. When I received my meal, it was the parmesan crusted Orange Roughy not the simple grilled one that I ordered. When I notified her of the mistake, she grabbed my plate and said, "That's what you wanted". She then proceeded to toss the menu at me and said, "Figure out what you want and I'll be back." About 5 minutes later she returned and I repeated what I had originally ordered. She grabbed the menu from my hand and left our table. Several minutes later, the manager stopped by our table and apologized and said my food would be up shortly. 20 minutes later I still had not received my food. The rest of our party was finished eating and I told the manager to remove the meal from our bill. Kenyatte walked by our table and slammed the bill down, never looking at us or offering any kind of an apology. Her attitude was the same when she returned to pick up the check with the credit card. Needless to say, our experience wasn't a good one and the service we received was reflected greatly in her tip. It's a shame as we've been to many Bonefish Grill locations and have always had great service and good food. Maybe Kenyatte needs help with her customer service skills or maybe she just isn't cut out for this line of work.
