My family and I arrived approximately 30 minutes before closing, well within normal business hours. From the moment we walked in, we felt unwelcome. The employees appeared annoyed that customers were still entering the store, and one employee even laughed sarcastically as we came in. The woman taking our order looked visibly frustrated and acted as though serving us was an inconvenience. In addition, the women's restroom was unavailable because a wet floor sign had been wedged into the top of the door, preventing it from being used. After purchasing our donuts, we sat down to eat, but the atmosphere became increasingly uncomfortable. An employee mopping the floor stood near our table with loud music blasting, which felt unprofessional and gave the impression that customers were being encouraged to leave before closing time. As we were leaving, another couple was attempting to enter the store, and we observed an employee trying to lock the door before they could come inside, despite the store still being open for 20 minutes. This experience was disappointing, especially given Krispy Kreme's reputation. With company headquarters located just a short distance away, I would expect a much higher standard of customer service and professionalism. I hope this feedback is used as an opportunity to improve the customer experience at this location.
