Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Got the $8 (sandwich only) chicken pimento cheese honey sandwich. Please see pics for reference. There was a tiny bit of pimento cheese and it didn’t even cover the whole sandwich. So sad. On the positive side Kyree he was a fantastic employee at the register. Give that man a raise!
- DDDon6 days ago2.0No one working or taking orders at the counter, only one kiosk working (which I hate anyway). After seeing employees ducking out and seeing the the full waiting customers, they ducked back into the kitchen again.... Zero customer service, so Will NOT be a whataburger customer.

It looked to me like they had plenty of staff, but the leadership was clearly not there either physically or otherwise.... Very nice staff and apologize.

They pretty much hold your hand through the process and it's great way better than alot of other places for sure. Overall GREAT experience and will definitely be back.

The burgers are fresh, flavorful, and made to order, and the menu offers plenty of options for everyone. The staff was friendly, the restaurant was clean, and the service was excellent, especially considering how busy a new location can be. Charlotte has a lot of great food options, but Whataburger is a fantastic addition to the area. Wishing the team continued success, and I look forward to many more visits. Welcome to the Queen City!
