Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
The first few months were great, but over the last couple of months the food and service has gone downhill. Continuously mess up orders, haven't gotten an order without items missing or made incorrectly in months. Consistently out of items. Haven't been able to get a chocolate shake the last 3 times I've been. They're either out, or not serving chocolate shakes that day, even though they can be ordered on the app. Highly disappointed in how quickly this went downhill.

I ordered my food at 10:28 from my house and arrived at 10:30 checked into the curbside pickup and 20 mins later still no food so i send my husband in for us to let them know we are waiting and we see numerous people come out with food before we are even served ours it is now 11:20 and i still have yet to receive our order upon checking in, We’ve seen multiple employees come and go and yet no service??? We have to go inside the location again and the workers act like they have no idea We ARE EVEN OUT HERE?!? Completely unprofessional why have a curbside pickup option when you won’t serve the people in waiting First and last time here because in no way will i ever wait 45 mins again for some mediocre food and poor customer service

This is my second time going there. I work right up the street and the first time I went the burger was great but the fries were old. Keep in mind I couldn’t turn around and come back because I only get 30 minutes for lunch. The second time I went they got my order wrong, the burgers were throw together with tons of sauce on them making the buns soggy, and the fires again old. There were maybe like 5 other customers there and I also had to park and wait on my food. Which doesn’t make sense as to why my fries would be old and my food made sloppy. Also the service was giving I hate my job and I don’t won’t to be here attitude. I won’t be going back there.

First time stopping to try "the famous" Whataburger. I ordered the single burger add cheese and a large tea, I paid $10.37, which i thought was a little much and then the employee handed me my drink and asked me to pull up to number 3 to wait for my burger. After a few minutes the employee brought me my food, when I told her thank you she just grunted and walked off. I opened my burger and the first thing I noticed was how big the bun was compared to the smaller patty and then the first thing I tasted was a mouth full of mustard, I generally like mustard but it's usually paired with ketchup or mayo but anyway, I tried to eat it but it was also dry. I then reached into my bag for a napkin which there were none or a straw or a receipt. So my total score would have to be a 2. Not impressed at all.

This is only my second time here but very well could be my last. I ordered a triple burger combo and a single bacon burger combo, both with their own different toppings. Open the food, the toppings that are supposed to be on the triple was on the single and vice versa. Checked the receipt and it’s correct on the receipt, but the burgers are wrong. Stuff happens right? Take it back inside and tell them what the problem is. They take the food away and then the front counter person comes back and asks me a second time what the issue was. I once again tell her, the toppings on the triple should be on the single and from the single on the triple.
She goes away and brings me back my food and I leave, check when I get in the car I check the food and it is wrong for a SECOND time. The exact same problem as the first. Go back inside, and once again have to tell them it’s wrong. The manager then comes out and tells me that it wasn’t the kitchens fault because the ticket was wrong and proceeds to point to the ticket… that was NOT WRONG. I then have to point out to the manager that the ticket is correct and she seemed bewildered. Finally after a THIRD time my food was correct. Unbelievable.
The thing that makes me most annoyed is the food TASTES GOOD. It’s just insane that people working in the kitchen apparently can’t read. Finding out in real time why there’s basically nobody here and seeing other reviews, makes more sense. Train your people better
