  We had a very disappointing experience at Saffron Mediterranean Grill last week. We ordered a vegetarian bowl for $11, but unfortunately, the portion was extremely disappointing. It contained roughly 14 pieces of lettuce, two small pieces of chopped onion, and some hummus. For $11, we expected a reasonable and satisfying amount of vegetables. We understand that portion sizes can vary, but this felt far too small for the price. Unfortunately, based on our experience, it seems like this restaurant may be better suited for non-vegetarian customers. If you are looking for a good, filling vegetarian meal, you may want to consider other options.

  Got a classic gyro and shishlik both where great. If passing through I would definitely stop by again

  Quite local feel, I had a chicken Mediterranean wrap. The food was fresh not as flavorful as expected, but that could be normal.

  Saffron Mediterranean Grill is definitely one of the best restaurants in Charlotte, NC for Mediterranean food! I had the shawarma, and it was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The staff was also incredibly helpful, friendly, and welcoming. Great food and great service all around. Highly recommended if you’re craving delicious Mediterranean food in Charlotte! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  The food is very tasty, well-seasoned and delicious. I ordered the Lamb Shishlik and received a large dinner portion enough for two people. Great customer service, definitely a place I will return to.
