  I don’t know what happened but the food we were served could not have been affiliated with Panera. We eat at Panera regularly and know what to expect. We ordered a turkey avocado on sour dough and a turkey bacon sandwich. Of course we did not notice until we exited the airport that we had a grilled cheese on wonder white bread (I’m not kidding). And another turkey with cheese on wonder white bread. Nothing else on the sandwiches. At least we had two bags of chips to eat.

  What an absolute mess when trying to pick up food. Their kiosk system is not worked out well. It’s hard to hear when names are called and when you order OJ with your mean you’re telepathically supposed to know you have to make your way, through more people, to the refrigerator case. Panera you need to reassess your format or ask McDonalds for some tips.

  After food was made, bagged and in the window. It sat there for 7 minutes while the 3 front counter girls told each other stories down by the drink cooler. If I wasn't xlose to running late for a connection this may not have bothered me so much. But at least 10 others were waiting also. Just need to be more efficient.

  Very disappointed in the professional display to an elderly lady, asking how to pick two worked after receiving a food voucher for canceled flight. The Young lady checking her out just told her look up there and pick two. When the lady asked her again in confusion because she only had 15$ to explain it, the check out girl barely opened her mouth and mumbled an explanation. I had to step in and explain to the lady how it worked nicely. Per laziness and disrespect. The other people waiting for their food agreed on how ridiculous that was. I just figured you guys should know it happened today. 5/7/26 at 11:15 am. We need to do better! Other than that, my salad was good, I was just missing the Caesar dressing in the pre-packed salad.

  Wow. The most poorly managed Panera ever. Workers can’t read. Are snippy at the cash register. Slower than molasses cause they are standing around laughing and talking rather than filling orders. It wasn’t that busy in that area of the airport yet.but there where 8 people waiting for ittheir order to be filled. And then despite repeating my order twice and getting yelled at by the person taking my order. You don’t have to repeat it twice she said. (But she had gotten it wrong). When I got the order and opened the sandwich it had bacon on it when I specifically asked for no bacon and my drink was no where in sight. And the person didn’t know how to read a simple name. What is happening there ? Where is the manager ? Where is the training. Save yourself some trouble at CLT. Go to Dunkin’ or Starbucks for coffee and a bagel.
