Dropped $1200 on an 8 person dinner. Service was inept, couldn't get down more than half the steak, Au Poivre was offensive peppercorn gravy substance, fries were soggy. Only bright spot was the wine a wine that I brought in - $30 per bottle corkage (which was known in advance) without a sommelier to course or a knowledge. Server was a nice guy, but not up for the task. Missed orders, missed details, had to ask for salad forks, slow to clear plates, slow to transition. Don’t let these details distract you from the fact that I could not managed to consume the steak. Lobster bites (recommended) were lackluster and served woth something akin to honey mustard, parker rolls were over proofed and had been reheated a few times. But because we were a large party we were hit with the 20% gratuity, including on the corkage which is like paying extra to be served and the paying extra again.

I rarely take the time to write restaurant reviews, but our experience at Oak Steakhouse last night was truly above and beyond expectations. We hosted a corporate dinner for a group of six, and every aspect of the evening was exceptional.
The service was outstanding—our servers were incredibly attentive, professional, and made sure every detail was taken care of throughout the meal. The food was equally impressive, with every dish expertly prepared and absolutely delicious.
From start to finish, this was a 10 out of 10 experience. I would highly recommend Oak Steakhouse for anyone planning a business dinner, corporate event, or special occasion. We will definitely be back!

Excellent atmosphere, Excellent service, Excellent food. From the host who greeted us, the waiter who served us, to the bus boy who cleared our empty plates everyone was very polite and very professional! The managers stopped by to check in on our experience! The staff even gave me a hand signed birthday card and gift! Who does that? I will definitely recommend this establishment to others! I wish you much future success!
Oh and the food was delicious!
We are from Dallas-in town for a week on a project. Stumbled in to Oak - and we just loved it. Robert greeted us and was so lovely - we did not have a reservation. Josh went above and beyond and we ended up becoming friends with Robert, Josh and John the manager! The food is wonderful !!!
John, you have a great team and we plan to come back at least twice while in town!

I was craving a good steak tartar and have heard a lot of great things about the one at oak steakhouse so I decided to stop in. I sat at the bar and was told that the menu had changed to a summer menu and the steak tartar wasn't available. Needless to say I was initially pretty disappointed but hungry so I decided to stay and get something else on the menu. I am very glad I did. The "good time" cocktail was perfect if you like a spirit focused cocktail with complexity. It has a thyme infused scotch misted over the cocktail that added a slightly savory element and the ginger gave it a refreshing quality that was great. I will definitely get it again when I go back. The most impressive thing outside of the service was the scallop dish. My bartender recommended it when I asked for her favorites and it was absolutely one of the best dishes I've had in quite awhile. I am picky about scallops and these were larger than the diver sea scallops I usually get at restaurants and they were cooked to perfection. I like mine with a golden sear on the outside and a strip in the middle where they aren't cooked all the way through. I hate overcooked scallops. They were also seasoned perfectly and the assorted ham pan sauce and yellow grits were delicous with them. They could take everything else off the menu and only serve water and that scallop dish and I would still show up. That being said I give the pork belly dish a 7.5 out of 10 and creme brulee a 9 out of 10. I went from disappointed but not wanting to deal with the hassle of finding another restaurant to go to, to looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend.
