  The customer service is freaking outstanding. They made our special dinner feel important and went above and beyond. Would 1000% recommend, especially if you are a naturally respectful human looking for respect in return. The food was incredibly delicious as well! We will be talking about our recent dinner here for a while. Thank you for making my 11 year old daughter feel special. You guys ROCK!

  I have to say first and foremost, Justin is on it. The service was spot on. I went with a buddy of mine and honestly wanted to try any and everything. We told Justin to make it happen and surprise us, and he did not disappoint. The food was insanely good. I cant speak highly enough about it. Between the quality service, knowledge of the dishes, and the atmosphere, this place is worth eating at. Maybe even 2 or 3 times a week. Cant wait to hit it back up.

  Second time here and I absolutely adore this place. The only thing better than the spectacular food is the exceptionally service, the team at O-Ku just makes it fun, like you’re an old friend joining them for dinner. Justin is a master at his craft and we can’t thank him enough for his recommendations.

  My fiancé and I had the best time at O-Ku Charlotte last night. Truly, across the board, it was an excellent experience. Our waitress, Angel, was incredibly knowledgeable and personable, offering helpful recommendations across the entire menu (sake, cocktails, nigiri, rolls, dessert, the whole 9 yards). We couldn't recommend visiting enough, and we'll definitely be back! Thank you, Angel, for a wonderful experience!

  Our server forgot to put in our entree order, so we sat for an hour waiting for our sushi to arrive. No one checked on us during that time other than the server who claimed "we were third in line", which also was untrue as I saw at least 4 tables that came in after us receive their sushi. Mind you, our sushi order was not complicated in the least. Will not be back. EDIT: Since the GM's response didn't include their contact info, I am editing this review to clarify: 1. We sat directly behind the host stand and no one checked on us throughout the time we were waiting for our sushi rolls. 2. We sat through the entire first half of the OSU-Texas football game without our food. 3. When our server finally came over and told us, "you guys are third in line, thanks for believing in us" after waiting an hour for food, our drinks were empty and weren't refilled. We also weren't given a chance to ask why it was taking so long for our food -he literally just ran off. His name was either Reggie or Eugene (it was loud in there). As stated originally above, multiple tables who came in after us received their food already, so it was clear that the server forgot to ring our order in. It was also 2 basic rolls of sushi -it isn't like we ordered something super complicated or asked for modifications. 4. When our food was finally delivered (by someone else other than our server), my Top Shelf Roll was missing avocado and severely lacking flavor. You could tell it was rolled hurriedly -the presentation was sloppy. However, since our server never came over to check and see how things were, I couldn't express my concerns to him. And no one from the host stand we were sitting directly behind bothered to check on us at all. 5. At that point, I just wanted to leave. When we were finally able to catch our server's attention, he never asked how our food was. I just asked him for the bill and for a box for the sushi I had barely eaten. At that point we finally got our waters refilled (we were without a refill for over an hour at that point). 6. I won't be back.
