  First time dining at this establishment on Park Road. Quite the impressive display of culinary choices walking through the front door! And then the prime rib dinner….honestly one of the best prime ribs I’ve ever tasted. And the atmosphere in the back dining area with the open roof and windows was amazing! Will definitely be back. Highly recommend!!

  The location in Cornelius is by far our favorite - mainly due to proximity to home. We met with friends for a prefixed dinner of charcuterie, salad, Prime Rib with accoutrements, sides, & a warm brownie sundae to finish off the night. On a typical evening, the bar menu serves about 10-12 people and includes steaks, appetizers, sides, and desserts. They just added a covered patio (swanky, where there is a retractable roof and windows) with additional seating outside or to host a private party such as us - we had a group of 46!! On the daily, this location also acts as a local butchery. They have daily specials and their socials just started random flash sales! Take home weekly dinners or their refrigerated section of soups, sides, and desserts really eliminates the guess work out of “what’s for dinner?” The biggest plus? Bottle service without up charges and bottling fees. My husband and I can split a bottle of wine or sparkling for the same prices as grocery stores vs the avg 150% markup in restaurants. The downside? Closing at 8p on weeknights and 9p on weekends when I work at a hospital until 7:30. This just means that I take full advantage on my nights off!!!!!!

  I ordered a sausage hoagie today as part of the $12 lunch special. The gentleman behind the counter told me it would take approximately 12 minutes, so I placed my order and waited. After about 10 minutes, I went back to my car, then returned another 15 minutes later expecting the sandwich to be ready. Unfortunately, I still had to wait before it was finally completed. When I received the sandwich, the potato chips that were supposed to be included were missing. I asked about them, and they were provided without any issue. Unfortunately, the food itself was a major disappointment. The bread was extremely stale, crumbly, and fell apart as soon as I tried to eat the sandwich. The Italian sausage was not sliced or prepared in a way that worked well for a hoagie—it appeared to simply be cut in half and placed into the bread. Almost immediately, the sausage came out of the bread because the bread was falling apart around it. The sausage itself wasn’t bad, and I would give it credit for that. However, between the long wait, the missing chips, and especially the stale, crumbling bread, the overall experience was disappointing. For a $12 lunch special, I expected much better quality and preparation

  Based on the online reviews and friends recommendations had high hopes, but I got disappointed. Picked a ribeye prime cut to cook to order. The flavor was decent, but it was incredibly tough, sinewy, and full of unchewable tissue. I also had an order of burnt end and pork belly and specifically asked for the sauce in the side, but it was drenched in sauce and too sweet.

  Ok, 2nd time I've been to this place and unfortunately this last experience was worst than the first. Overall the food quality for everyone else who patron's there looks great. My service and quality of food have not been great both times. I've noticed they're extremely friendly with greeting guests in and out. However, I've never experienced that. Much like the first experience my food (specifically wings) came out over cooked. Joseph the bar tender was awesome enough to observe that and immediately acknowledged more would be coming out. The kitchen sent out 3 wings to replace the entirety burnt first batch. I sent the reminder of the first batch back, and sadly had to wait for it to be a to go order. As I was leaving, someone who appeared to be in management sure enough, greeted the women in front of me, but stared at me as I walked out. I awkwardly said to him "have a great day" with the same enthusiasm he said to the women in front me. I work nearby and this place is close to my office. Was excited because it's right across the street from my go to car wash. Sadly won't return. Lastly for what it's worth, it takes a lot for me to right a review like this, especially for a local shop that's right in my community.
