  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Mizu and it couldn't have been more perfect. Our server, Kyah, was absolutely wonderful and made us feel celebrated in every way, with thoughtful touches all night that made the evening truly special. We had flowers waiting for us! The rooftop views over SouthPark were beautiful, the robata-grilled dishes were incredible, and the service was warm and attentive without ever feeling rushed. Thank you, Kyah, and the whole Mizu team for helping us create a memory we'll never forget. We'll definitely be back!

  Just ate at Mizu this evening. One of the worst dinner experiences I have had in a Charlotte restaurant. We were seated 35-40 minutes after our reservation time . The sparkling wine we ordered was flat (when one orders “sparkling” wine they actually want wine that is SPARKLING). The hamachi was so fishy we couldn’t finish it. The robata grilled chicken was tough. The service was poor. I could go on, but I’ve made my point. We will not be going back to this restaurant.

  Our waitress was phenomenal. She sat us outdoors which was very nice. The views were stunning. She was very knowlegable about the menu and which dishes were the best. We ordered a wide selection of food and drink. The lemon drop was tasty along with the burger and sea bass on the skewers. Very nice place and experience!

  My family and I visited this restaurant about 3 weeks ago for my daughter‘s 12th birthday. My server Liz was amazing! She made my daughter feel special and even sang happy birthday to her. The food and drinks were superb. The restaurant its self was beautiful! Definitely a restaurant to visit.

  Arrived about 6pm with no reservation. Seated quickly! Service was fine. Atmosphere felt a bit stiff. Ordered the Tuna Bomb, Lemon Roll, Umami Burger, Grilled Octopus, and Lychee Martini. Lychee Martini (~$20) was sour and did not have any lychee taste or lychee fruit. Tuna Bomb (~$25) was a lump of spicy tuna served on top of a grilled half-avocado with skin on and ponzu sauce poured over the top. Extremely difficult to eat only given a fork and a Japanese soup spoon. Taste did not make up for poor presentation. Lemon Roll was the best out of the items we ordered. Very basic “specialty” roll and have had better at all you can eat sushi restaurants. Umami Burger was fine, but had a very salty aftertaste. Burger was served with fries that were equivalent to taste/texture of bowling alley fries. The “tobasco tomato jam” was Heinz ketchup with no taste of tobasco added. The grilled octopus was by far the worst, slightly undercooked drenched in sauces and herbs (not mentioned on menu) that did not align with the menu description of “chimichurri” or “crème fraiche”. I was extremely surprised by the presentation and quality of the food at what I expected to be an upscale Japanese cuisine similar to O-Ku, Yunta, or Hestia, but wouldn’t even put this in the category of Sushi Hana or Tora. I found the items overpriced for what was offered.
