  This place has so much history it's truly beautiful see culture in the community of charlotte. Without a doubt I can't wait until it becomes a lounge, it's a good place to sit chill and enjoy a night with friends.

  Horrible experience, can’t believe they chop up 1 piece of chicken spread some gravy on it , pile up a bunch of rice , charge outrageous prices and have the nerve to call it a large plate .. they literally put the chicken in the sides area on the plate . Rice is salty and over cooked . Just a Hot Mess . Please don’t waste your hard earned money.

  Tried to order Curry Chicken, but as I've come to expect from all Jamaican restaurants 'we nuh have dat', so I pivoted to Jerk Chicken. This dish proved to be the driest chicken I've ever attempted to eat. The sauce was perfect, but it was covering up a major problem. I don't know if they just decided to serve me yesterday's reheated bird, but this is inedible and I will have to try elsewhere for good Jamaican food. I spend a month out of every year on the island and my friends there would shut down a restaurant that served this. I also wasn't aware that mac and cheese could be prepared in such a way that the end result is drier than it was in the box. Mama must not be around because I never had this experience when she was.

  I've had Jamaican food from here to New York. I'm 51 years old and I could honestly say with zero remorse this is the worst Jamaican food I ever had in my entire life. Me being from the Caribbean first thing I do is look for Caribbean food in the area and I've tried 10 Jamaican restaurants out here so far and I'm sorry but I have to be blunt. I don't even know how they got five stars that s*** has to be AI generated.

  Was given old jerk chicken and everytime I come which within a 3 to 5 months period there's different workers n the prices on the menu change every 3;weeks it goes up and the prices online are different you look at the menu inside n pay those crazy prices they don't say anything but it's no the original price 21 dollars for a jerk plate small and 28 for curry goat nooooo there is no Jamaican place in Charlotte that charges this much and this place is not that good I would not recommend different workers n the black woman in charge has a bad spitirt
