Racheal was very helpful and nice to us. We advised her this was our first time. Mac n cheese was on POINT! Yams could’ve gotten a little more sugar and the fish was very well seasoned. Food and experience was nice and we will be going back. 🛻

We walked in and were immediately greeted by a sweet smile, nice music and a dancing chef doing his lil 1,2 inna back 😂 The lady taking ur order confirms and clarifies what ur ordering so uu won’t be disappointed. AND THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! As you can see everything is beautifully seasoned, nice portions (and for the smell folks out there, the aroma confirms it on the WALK IN 🤏); It being black owned js adds the cherry on top for me. If you want a A+ meal and great vibes this is the spot to go 💯💯
Tubi(Chef) Rachel(Host), & Duck(Chef) were the employees that served me when I picked up my order. My wife ordered the chicken & waffles. We had to wait a little bit longer due to their equipment not functioning as it normally does so they gave us the option to order something, or wait. My wife chose to wait, she really wanted this order. They gave us 2 strawberry lemonades for being patient as they worked my wife’s order along with the many other customers. When my order was ready, they added another meal which was salmon and rice, with sweet potatoes. My wife destroyed the food lol Definitely an awesome place to eat.

I used to make it a point to eat at Lulu’s every time I came to Charlotte, so I was really looking forward to stopping in again after some time away. Unfortunately, this visit was very disappointing.
I placed my order around 3 PM and didn’t receive it until about 4:15 PM. When I arrived, I was told they were out of mashed potatoes, which I originally wanted with my meal. While waiting, I also had to listen to the assistant manager and another employee arguing loudly back and forth, as if no customers were present. That alone made the experience uncomfortable.
I try to give grace because the food has always been good in the past, but this time it didn’t meet expectations. My salmon was overcooked, the rice was overcooked, and the crab cake was cold on the inside. For a $65 meal, I definitely expected much better quality and service.
After such a long wait and poor customer service, I honestly expected some kind of acknowledgment—whether that be a discount or something to make it right.
I’ve always loved Lulu’s, but this experience really changed my perspective. Sadly, I’m not sure if I’ll be returning.

Lulus didn’t make me a plate… they made me sit down and reflect on my life.
Salmon was seasoned like somebody’s auntie was back there supervising. Shrimp had so much flavor I almost asked who cooked it so I could say thank you personally. The mac & cheese. Disrespectfully good. Had me ignoring everything else on the plate.
Greens. Cracked it.
10/10. I came for food, left with trust issues because why have I driven by this every day and not tried it. Thanks to Cody for his awesome hospitality.
