I completely understand that the store has closing hours and that employees need to close the store—that is not the issue. What was unacceptable was the way they treated customers. They walked through the aisles telling people in a very rude manner that the registers were closed and that if we didn’t go pay immediately, we wouldn’t be able to purchase our items. There is a big difference between informing customers politely and treating them disrespectfully. Unfortunately, the staff showed no empathy, and to my surprise, the manager set the same poor example with an unprofessional and disrespectful attitude. A little kindness and respect toward customers would make a huge difference in the shopping experience.
