The atmosphere has nothing to do with the food, the decor, Bob, the blaring Jama music as you walk through the door, the traditional smells. I got there around 3. My order oxtails peas and rice. With that said; I was given to much soup (calling it soup my rice was drowning) the rice and peas were to sweet coconut rice and peas, the coconut was overpowering and the rice was under cooked possibly leftovers combined. This is not my first visit but it could have been a lot better if I lived closer I would have returned. Disappointing!

Don’t get me wrong the food is good . The seasoning is definitely there. Last time I went there was a couple months ago maybe around last year . It was $40 for me and my husbands large oxtails plates. Went there two days ago I looked at the receipt $60 and charging extra $5 for large. Opened up the plate and barely any food in the plate . Absolutely will not be returning.

First time trying this place, I got the small oxtail plate. Everything was very flavorful, but no spice whatsoever. The rice and peas were really good. The oxtails were decent. Just got few with barely any meat. The employees were nice. I just wasn’t pleased with them not being able to make a mixed drink. Only shots. I’ll probably be back to try their jerk chicken but I was told it wasn’t spicy so idk might still try to see for myself.

I usually love this place for its curry chicken and curry goat. However, lately, when I’ve ordered a large curry goat plate, I’ve been getting a small amount of curry goat and nothing but bones. Today, I ordered another large curry goat plate, and it was the same. They refused to fix it and decided to give me a refund. I guess I won’t be coming here anymore because the quality of the food and service has gone down. Instead of sharing more, they just refused and called the manager, who then said to refund me.
