Long overdue review for an amazing spot for Indo-Chinese! Very hospitable team who always is warm and welcoming! The interior itself makes you feel you’ve stepped into a special place and builds your anticipation. The food always comes thru and surpasses expectations everytime which is why I make the 30mins drive anytime I crave it. One of the best spots for family or friends to grab a meal and catch up!

If you’re in Charlotte and craving something bold, flavorful, and different — Inchin Bamboo on Tryon Street absolutely delivers.
We went all in on their fusion menu and honestly, every single dish hit. The soup was the perfect warm start, followed by some standout bites like the paneer tacos (unexpected but incredible), and the lat mai kai, which was packed with flavor and texture. The paneer entrée was rich and perfectly cooked, and both the fried rice and chicken 65 fried rice were next-level — smoky, spicy, and super satisfying.
What really stood out was how well they’ve mastered Indo-Chinese fusion. It genuinely felt like eating elevated street food straight out of Mumbai — bold, nostalgic flavors but presented in a clean, modern way.
The cocktails deserve a shoutout too — creative, well-balanced, and a perfect complement to the food. You can tell thought has gone into building a menu where everything works together.
And the experience wouldn’t have been the same without the service — Mario and Tony were exceptional. Attentive, friendly, and made sure everything flowed perfectly from start to finish.
Overall: amazing food, great vibes, and top-notch service. Definitely going back.

Tried Inchin’s Bamboo Garden recently and had a mixed experience overall.
We ordered quite a few dishes:
* Chicken 65 ($14.00) – This was the most disappointing dish. It tasted more like chilli chicken than authentic Chicken 65, with capsicum and onion cubes in it. When you order a classic dish like Chicken 65, you expect that signature flavor and style, but this felt quite different from what was expected.
* Burnt Garlic Chili Fried Rice ($17.00) – This was the standout dish of the meal. Really flavorful and easily the best item we tried. Definitely recommend this, especially in the mixed rice style (chicken/lamb/shrimp).
* Streetside Chow Mein ($17.00) – It was okay, but nothing memorable. Not bad, just average.
* Garlic Pepper Chicken ($17.00)– Also just okay. Decent, but not something I’d order again.
* Crispy Chili Baby Corn ($13.00)– Tasted fine and was enjoyable enough.

This was one of the most disturbing and unacceptable dining experiences I have ever had.
I visited this restaurant with my wife and toddler expecting a simple family meal, but the food quality was poor enough that we had to send a dish back. Based on that experience, I chose not to leave a tip. What followed was shocking.
Our server followed me outside the restaurant and confronted me in an aggressive and threatening manner, insisting that I “should know” that servers depend on tips. Despite clearly telling him I did not want to engage, he continued to argue and push the issue. This behavior felt like outright intimidation and bordered on harassment.
I briefly returned to speak with the manager, expecting accountability. Instead, the manager defended this behavior and justified confronting customers over tipping. There was no attempt to de-escalate the situation, no apology, and no recognition of how inappropriate and threatening this was.
This kind of conduct is not just unprofessional — it reflects a level of hooliganism that has no place in a customer-facing business. Being followed outside and pressured over a tip is completely unacceptable and made my family feel unsafe.
Had I not been with my wife and young child, I would have seriously considered involving the authorities. No customer should ever be put in this position.
I strongly advise others to avoid this establishment unless they are prepared to deal with aggressive and intimidating behavior.

Worst lunch experience in Charlotte area. We reached the restaurant a few minutes before the last order for lunch and they kept rushing for us to order. We ordered tandoori momos (both chicken and paneer) along with chilli garlic noodles and chilli chicken.. the food tasted mediocre and we were not very happy with our server. When we left, we didn’t want to tip them because we didn’t enjoy the food or service and made up our mind that we won’t visit this place again. To our surprise, the server actually followed us outside the restaurant and said to us that our waiters get paid from tips and you didn’t tip me !! We politely told him ok, we don’t want to know, but then he said “No sir, we have to tell this to our customers”.. which we found utterly ridiculous. My spouse and this server ended up arguing loudly and the manager came out. The manager also supported his staff and said that WE HAVE TO TELL OUR CUSTOMERS THAT THE TIP GOES TO THEIR SALARY !! It was so ridiculous ! We paid in full for everything we ordered even though it didn’t taste that good.. tipping or no tipping should be our choice .. but what guts for the server and manager to follow us outside the restaurant and tell us that we didn’t tip !! Nuisance , not going to this restaurant ever again and recommending to anyone also.
PS: the momos tasted pretty stale and the coating was super hard .. it’s like you take frozen momos out of the freezer and don’t thaw them properly and then just add it to the tandoor. The filing was equally bland .. no masalas or spice. We also sent the noodles back because there was some sauce which was too strong.. the server took my bowl back to the kitchen and when he returned, it seemed like they just added some plain noodles to the original bowl and tossed everything together instead of making something new !!
