  I want to personally thank the morning staff in food Lion for being my mother's Day savior. Last night when I went to the food Lion I ended up buying a mother's Day cake and it was the end of the night so the bagger bagged my cake incorrectly. Not taking anything away from the bagger because the bagger was fabulous as well. I got up this morning and I walked over to the food Lion not knowing what they were going to do when I told them that the mother's Day cake was bagged and correctly. Well they were receptive and when I went to the baker I told the baker that there were no more cakes available this Baker went above and behind went to the back found the exact type of cake that I had and gave me the decorations to put on the top and a few extra Roses rings because I told her they were mom's favorite. I just want to say thank you. Food Lion is more than just your friendly neighborhood market it is a family thank you all

  Had to visit the customer service desk. The lady spent 5 minutes talking to another coworker then ignored me when I greeted her. She cancelled my transaction that was “approved” by my bank causing a pending transaction that’s going to take time to be reversed by the bank causing unnecessary delays. Then she said “it’s always been like that” but I’ve literally never encountered that before. It would be one thing if she admitted a mistake, but she caused me more headache than she helped with then shrugged her shoulders like there wasn’t anything she could do. It sucks when yall are one of the only options nearby for this service, but I will go out of my way to find the other option if they’re nicer.

  The manager is very helpful as well as the employees. There are three employees that goes above and beyond to help me whenever I come to shop there. One, that's very tall and keeps his hair braided, the other is around 19, Latino name Raul. The other, is about 5'2, older gentleman that's African American. THANK you guys always.
