- NWNickolas WuMay 28, 20261.0I had an extremely disappointing experience at Five Guys today, and the worst part wasn’t even the incorrect order — it was the complete lack of customer service from the manager, Logan J. From the moment he took my order, his attitude was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. Then, after the kitchen made my burger incorrectly because the ticket was entered wrong, I came back to politely explain the issue. Instead of remaking the burger properly or offering any real solution, Logan’s “fix” was to hand me the missing toppings and expect me to assemble the burger myself at the counter. That is completely unacceptable, especially considering the prices Five Guys charges. If I’m paying restaurant prices, I shouldn’t have to finish preparing my own food because management can’t be bothered to correct their mistake properly. What made the situation worse was Logan’s attitude throughout the interaction. There was no apology, no accountability, and no attempt to make the situation right. It felt like I was inconveniencing him simply by asking for the order I originally paid for. Mistakes happen in restaurants — I understand that. But customer service is what separates a good experience from a terrible one, and this was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had in a long time.

The only products we offer that contain gluten are our buns, hot dogs (Canada only), HP sauce (UK only), and the malt vinegar condiment for our fries. In Canada, our Poutine Gravy condiment also contains gluten. All of our sandwiches, including burgers, hot dogs and the veggie sandwich, are available without a bun via our wrap or bowls.

Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.

Leftover fries are excellent reheated in the oven (or Air Fryer). According to Chad Murrell, one of the Five Guys, just pop them in a 350-degree oven for about 10-15 minutes.
