I am making this review at 8:50 PM on Sunday, and this CAVA location does not close until 10:00 PM. I arrived at approximately 8:39 PM, so there was still more than an hour before closing.
Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing.
The food station was visibly unsanitary and poorly maintained, and almost everything I wanted to order was unavailable. When I asked about the missing items, the employee repeatedly responded with, “Well, it’s close to closing.”
I’m sorry, but 8:39 PM is NOT closing time when the restaurant’s posted hours are until 10:00 PM. I understand that restaurants have to prepare for closing, but that should not mean customers arriving over an hour before closing are met with empty food stations, unavailable basic menu items, or an attitude that suggests we are inconveniencing the staff by ordering.
We are talking about basic items here, even the dressing and pita were unavailable. At that point, I have to question what exactly I am paying for when a significant portion of the menu is no longer available well before the advertised closing time.
This is more than just an inconvenience for one customer. This type of experience can seriously hurt a restaurant. Customers remember when they feel like they received poor service, limited options, or an unsanitary experience. They may not return, they may tell others about it, and they may leave reviews like this one. Over time, that directly impacts customer loyalty, sales, and the reputation of the location.
If the restaurant consistently runs out of food and basic ingredients this far before closing, management needs to address inventory, staffing, food preparation, and closing procedures. If the expectation is that customers should not expect a full menu after a certain time, then the hours need to reflect that.
I genuinely like CAVA, which is why this experience was so disappointing. I hope management takes this seriously because customers should be able to walk in at 8:39 PM when the restaurant closes at 10:00 PM and receive the quality, cleanliness, selection, and customer service they reasonably expect.
I placed an online order for pickup, which was scheduled for 10:45 a.m. When I arrived at the restaurant, I was the only customer inside, yet no one acknowledged me or greeted me. I waited for my order, and after looking toward the kitchen, I asked an employee if the order was ready. She responded that it was.
When I received my bowl, I immediately noticed that the lid was slimy, greasy, and not properly sealed. After opening the bowl, I realized my order had been made incorrectly. The only item I received extra of was cucumber, even though I had requested extra portions of several toppings.
I informed another employee that my order was incorrect. She remade the bowl in front of me, but her demeanor suggested she was irritated. Despite there being no other customers in the restaurant, she rushed through making my meal, which felt unnecessary and unprofessional.
As she prepared the bowl, she only added a single scoop of the toppings I had specifically requested extra of. When I politely mentioned that I had asked for extra, she rolled her eyes and replied, "I gave you extra," in a visibly agitated tone.
What disappointed me the most was not just the incorrect order, but the lack of customer service. At no point did anyone apologize for the inconvenience or acknowledge the mistake. I have visited this location before and have always been treated with courtesy and accommodated without issue, which made this experience especially surprising.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously so that future customers receive the level of service they deserve.
If I could give SADIE a 100 I sure would! She catered to each individual, perfecting their order! She had fantastic customer service! She worked the line (prepping alone amd was faster than two individuals)!
Please understand that SADIE is an asset!
I was in the lunch line of about 20 plus! She did not diminish the quality by rushing and missing requests! I appreciate you SADIE for moving the line, some of us work outside of the area but still want the CAVA experience! and can't wait long times.
SADIE is the truth!
The other staff members were great, SADIE was ny first point of contact and marvelous!!
EVERYTHING WAS A 5!

Ordered DoorDash from here. Orders were completely wrong. I got a bowl that was missing arugula, tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, feta, and both sauces. They also ADDED things that I didn’t want either, i.e. corn slaw, avocado. Exact same thing happened to the other person who ordered with me. We ordered an hour before close, that’s plenty of time to make a correct meal. This was ridiculous. They also made our door dasher wait 45 minutes and according to said door dasher the employees were “rude and unhelpful” and that’s why it was taking so long (an hour and a half). I am absolutely appalled at the service, this restaurant needs to get it together. I have never had a good experience at this specific location and the manager needs to figure out what’s going on with their employees or be fired. This is completely unacceptable.
