Because of that, I really only go here 2-3 times a year, and each time I am reminded why I rarely stop here. When I stopped there today for example, instead of calling my name or my order number when my food was ready, the employee causally tossed it on the counter and pointed at it without saying one word before walking off. The fountain drink I wanted was empty and was just putting out carbinated water, and the supervisor/manager and employees were talking to one of their friends hanging out at the counter about stuff that shouldn't be discussed at work and in front of customers. You just always get the sense that you are somehow an inconvenience to them by going there. In the future when I'm in the mood for Bojangles, I might just have to drive to the location in Locust.

I was also missing my receipt and had to ask for a straw. I ordered a regular Mac and cheese, and the portion didn’t even fill the entire container. It was like a blob in the middle and the edges of the container weren’t full. I also had remnants of dirty rice and mashed potatoes in my Mac and cheese, which is disappointing and an allergy issue. My sandwich had a small blob of mayo, and a filet that was mostly crunch. My sandwich also had strands of shredded lettuce for no apparent reason. This is extremely disappointing, do better Bojangles.

It's pretty sad that even with the automated order process at the drive through, they still cannot seem to piece together a correct order. I can only imagine the only requirement for employment at a Bojangles is an active pulse. Ordered three chicken supremes combos. For the sake of accuracy, two were the exact same; Starry, BBQ sauce, and seasoned fries. One was the same but with buffalo sauce. Oh, we got three combos, one with honey mustard, one with buffalo, and one with BBQ. No straws, no napkins, no receipt, one of the combos had three supremes and one thing that was unidentifiable, but looked like a flattened chicken nugget, but was burnt beyond recognition. Another had three regular supremes, but one was tough enough to use as a spare tire or maybe a dog chew toy if needed. For their final act, all of the drinks had no sugar. Straight carbonated water. You know, it's Bojangles; I don't expect a 5 star dining experience, or to be treated like a king; I don't even expect to be told to have a nice day, but if you're going to charge 36 bucks for 3 combos, you need to make sure the small things are at least done right. We need to start holding these places accountable and voting with our wallets. The Wendy's in Mint Hill was finally eradicated because of stuff like this, and these other places need to be put on notice as well. It's really old at this point.
