Cathy, the manager, informed me that there was no way to customize a cake at this time or in the foreseeable future. However, there was a sign displayed on the freezer advertising custom cakes, which made the response confusing. When I asked who makes the cakes and when they might be available, Cathy stated that she didn’t know. While I understand that policies and availability can change, I expected a more helpful and customer-friendly response. There was no effort to offer alternatives, gather additional information, or apologize for the inconvenience. My experience left me feeling dismissed rather than valued as a customer. I hope management will address the inconsistency in advertising and encourage staff to provide more courteous and helpful customer service.
