- IGIsha GuptaApr 25, 20261.0PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS! They contract with a towing company that is widely known as predatory, but my incident on April 23 at 3:30pm was borderline criminal. I parked at Panera, before I ate I went next door for 5 min to pick something up. I came out to a man with a truck blocking my car. The confrontation lasted 30-40 minutes. He forced me to pay him $300 before he let me go. He spend a while coercing me to get cash (illegal). He made me sign a contract under duress (illegal). He then took photos of my credit cards and licenses (against my wishes). I am now concerned about identity theft. They will tow you while you are eating there if you step one foot off the property line. He told he was "watching me"-- they sit nearby looking at cameras. They prey on students / minorities/ anyone who seems vulnerable enough to scam. Panera continues to contract with them knowing this and probably profiting as well. Please boycott this location + any others that contract with Barnes!

Personally, I am boycotting any establishments that have contracted with Barnes towing it is evil and they prey on people by watching them on a camera. If you walk away from the establishment for even 3 minutes they will race over to ruin your day!!!!

This Panera Bread is possibly my favorite of the 600 I’ve been to. An outdoor seating area with outlets?! It’s stunning. PLUS parking is FREE and ample and the people who give it 1-star reviews and saying they were towed are people who didn’t actually go to the Panera Bread

What really made my day was the wonderful girl who greeted everyone and wished every customer a great day as they were leaving. It was incredibly kind and uplifting to see someone care like that. Such a small gesture, but it made the whole experience special. 10 out of 10!
