  We love this food lion, I am not sure why they get such terrible reviews. Sure, it's not as fancy has Harris Teeter, but the cashier's are always friendly, especially one named Crystal I believe. She always greets and remembers us and wishes us a blessed day, and helps out older folks bagging their groceries too. She deserves recognition

  I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the entire staff at this grocery store. During a recent visit, an elderly friend of mine had some difficulty using one of the motorized shopping wheelchairs, and every employee we encountered went out of their way to help. Rather than just one person stepping in, it was clear that this level of kindness and attentiveness is part of the store’s culture. Several staff members offered assistance with patience and respect, making sure she was comfortable and safe. At one point, they even brought out a chair so she could sit and rest while I finished shopping. What impressed me most was how consistently kind everyone was throughout our visit. Every staff member we met treated her with dignity and genuine care, regardless of the situation or what was being discussed. Their professionalism and compassion made a real difference in our experience. Thank you for maintaining such a welcoming and supportive environment for all customers, especially elderly shoppers who may need extra help. It is truly appreciated, and we will gladly return.
